I installed inner bar ends on my Roadlite 6. I went out for a 20km gravel ride to test them out. They feel firm, solid and well made.
I was riding with a broad smile on my face the entire time.
Possibly the best sub €50 I’ve ever spent of bike comfort accessories.
My riding comfort has been improved by:
1. Reducing my effective handle-bar width from 60cm to 38cm, bringing my wrist more in line with shoulder joint (acromio). I ride 40cm on my road bike so this position. Feels more comfortable and familiar for me.
2. Improving hand comfort position for longer rides. I prefer the hand position of riding on the hoods on drop bars – verticle knuckles rather than horizontal knuckles when holding the grips.This knuckle position feels more comfortable for me over longer rides.
Model is SQ lab 410 v2.
TLDR; Drop bars hoods feel at sub €50. Significantly improved hand, wrist and shoulder comfort. Firm, solid feeling.
