hi guys welcome back to the channel and welcome back to Next Level wheelie school where we are at South Cy so sit back relax and come along for the ride [Music] so next level wheelie school has been running since 2019 it they do every three locations like I say this is South Cy we’ve got really lucky with the weather today uh the weather could change who knows uh it’s divided into three groups today I’m in the third group this is the first group going out over so many sessions they build you up to do some fantastic wheelies right guys here we go just getting a a little bit of instruction a little bit of a refresher start this Beast up I’ve been here before but you know it’s been a year since I’ve been on this bike and uh like always we just settle into it get used to the bikes again get used to using that clutch these bikes are locked into second gear they are second gear clutch up wheelies we’re doing on this bit we just uh literally no [Music] acceleration get back on the bike and we’re just literally going to do a little bit of weaving little bit of weaving some puddles down the bottom here and um you know this is the runway this is how much space we’ve got do you think I’ll be a to clear the cones over the [Music] day but yeah it’s great to be back at wheelie school now hopefully we can just slot straight back into it these are just the perfect bikes for doing this and we’ve got the perfect weather as well not too hot not windy but it’s not raining as you can see we’ve got a a series of three cones here and uh the blue ones are where we [Music] start we’ve got the yellow cones and then we’ve got the green cones this is where we’ll be doing the clutch up listen to that engine wow so what we’re going to do is uh when we started the blue cones when we get to the yellow cones we’re going to start accelerating 50% power at this point we’re not even using the clutch a little bit Ry starty clutch what we like to have like a nice low clutch nice low revs yellow cone do nice secondar acceleration [Music] so yeah basically we’re just now accelerating on that second lot of cones that 50% power is what’s needed before we introduce that clutch up so we got multiple goes multiple sessions over the day PA’s going to run through all the controls with you everyone okay we got a few guys been before some of you just going to run through the controls together okay make it a bit easier okay so yeah everyone grab the controls to be going to run we’re going to go from Z to half everyone and half to full back to half back to zero try and gauge where halfway is and what we’re looking for is a nice smooth motion with fing y perfect F to practice together to do the whole motion as we would normally so we’re getting ready everyone we’re at the blue cone the runway is clear first thing we want to get ready as we pull away that body position just push your Bump to the back of the seat lock in okay everyone ready we’re at the blue cone everyone start to wind the power on for me it’s about a 2 second delay one two everyone wheelie keep the gas there nice and wheelie let me you gently ring off ready to [Music] go and when you were ready [Music] so yeah basically what we’re doing now we’re just literally tapping on that clutch you know we we’re still not trying to pull the wheel up just [Music] yet it’s literally just that minimalistic tap I need to sit back as well sit back yeah it’s um I need to get on the gas more yeah yeah I’ll be honest it does feel a little bit alien again you know takes a little bit of selling into these bikes we’ll go a little bit deeper on the [Music] clutch well that came up we’re back in the game came down like a lead balloon though not too bad a little bit noisy bit too slippy with the clutch come in and out quick out bit too slow but nice and quick in and out cool right yeah we right that was off the ground I think it was like about an inch you always feel it’s a lot higher but it’s probably like that it really is a Cy sitting back as well I find myself when I’ve come back around on myself I’m I’m I’m s too far forward and that that makes a massive difference you know got like 303 and a half Stone set over the [Music] engine that’s better that’s a bit better we’ll get some height I know where me marker is there’s a big p there’s a big puddle at the end of the runway so like I said these bikes are locked into second gear uh which is one less thing to think about and that’s why they do it cuz it would just over complicate it uh when you kind of like new to [Music] this I just feel a little bit tense so I think when you’re Wheeling you’re giving a little over the so allow you to relase the clutch quick I think relax he’s right he’s right I can feel it in myself 210 you know you need to be relaxed let the bike come up they try and pull on the handle bars [Music] I think you notice time it’s not making that right noise that crisp clutch Noise Okay like I’m I’m holding on to the clutch you might be holding just past our free play so we need to just be mindful of have in and out as quickly as possible yeah yeah okay let [Music] work that’s better that’s better if I’ve stop talking it’s cuz I’m concentrated the good thing is you get so many goes at it over and over again until you get it right you know you can’t do this on the road it’s not a he learn yeah I must admit I’m glad it’s not any warmer today cuz I am absolutely sweltering now you can hear the bikes fans just spinning the bikes are getting hot as you can imagine they get put through the paces but uh this is the first group going back out so yeah basically when you got three groups 20 minute sessions uh you get a nice 40-minute rest which you need so this is the device on the back that stops the bike flipping they call it the one this is the safety device over the day so as the bike lifts up this is engaged and then the indicators will then show you if you go too high whether it will cut the cylinders out or cut the coils off uh if two indicators flash it means the bike’s lifted up and it’s doing its job it’s bringing the bike back down to save it going [Music] over okay so we’re out for session three now and I think we might break for lunch so uh let’s get out hopefully we’ve learned through sessions one and two and I feel confident we’re going to do some good wheelers nice to relax we need to do some yoga with Simon just before we start okay so back out session three and then I think we break for a little bit of lunch let’s get the bike fired up I feel confident that um I’m going to do okay in this one [Music] yes baby the third session is always the best it’s all I needed a little bit of rest another kind of Red Bull and I’m on it there we go to is I’ll probably just curse myself again now a good in it puts a smile on your face right see if we can do it again [Music] well we’re kind of at the end of the runway I didn’t actually think that one was coming up but I got on the power and just kind of gradually brought it up it probably wasn’t the highest it’s always hard to tell when you’re on the bike but [Music] [Applause] [Music] yeah oh yeah I tell you what when you get a couple on the bounds it’s such a buzz honestly guys if you live in the UK you’ve got to come and try this 250 quid probably be the best day you’ve ever done on a [Music] motorcycle yeah we’ve just changed post code [Applause] there I run out of cones [Music] W we’re going to need to extend the [Music] runway I cleared the counts I think we got the thumbs up from the boys control s get a few landing and the so you got back [Music] so up to now we’ve done four sessions I think there’s six over the day the weather’s been absolutely fantastic today uh everybody has significantly improved over the day as well including myself and uh the skills that I take from this are using in other aspects of my motorcycle as well like when I use my enjo road bike it’s all about that clutch control so we’ve still got two more sessions to go let’s see how that goes right here we go let’s get ready for this this fifth session might need to drop the visor down on this one because that Sun’s moved around a little bit right straight [Music] out do you know what it is it’s like you get I think as the day goes on you really do get lethargic you know the fingers the fingers are getting tired and I think you you put yourself under a bit more pressure as you get towards the end of the day cuz you think you should be doing better when actually you know for me I think my third session was the best [Music] yeah woo oh my water’s all dried up my marker’s gone oh it’s down here look yeah guys so you know that was the end of the fifth session and like I said as it goes on I’m getting more tired and now I am I’m kind of like my I feel like my my fingers my hands kind of seizing up a little bit so guys this is next level wheelie School come and give it a try you’ll absolutely have a blast I’ve had a great day today and so these guys here the instructors have been fantastic and I’ll definitely be back for another one so I hope you like the video guys if you’re not subscribed to the Channel please do so give us a like and we’ll see you in the next one [Music]
