2020 Salsa Vaya with 50cm tires. This bike is effectively a black whole on the internet, which leads me to believe it might not be the best bike if no one has anything to say about it. There’s really almost zero info out there. I know Salsa gets a lot of love so I’m seriously entertaining this, and it’s actually within the ball park for my price range. Wondering what you guys think of this as a first gravel bike (first more modern big boy bike really). I like the geo, based on specs I’ve seen. I’d like something more endurance focused but not a complete dog either. I also like the idea of being able to throw a rack on here… just for perspective, my ideal bike (if I could afford one) would be a Cervelo Aspero. I know, not set up for a rack but I love everything about the bike. And if my pockets were even deeper I’d probably go with a Trek Checkpoint. Would love feed back so I can make a well informed decision here being a huge novice who seemingly found the one bike the internets never talked about. Thanks!
