Hi all, I never learned how to ride a bike until like 8th grade when my friend had a bike and taught me in like 2 days. It’s been years since that but recently I citi biked with friends in the city and it was so fun I loved it! But we all came to the conclusion that citi bikes are just too expensive to be riding them frequently. So we all started to look for bikes to buy ourselves. We live in the city so there’s a lot of cement/asphalt where we ride and sometimes we have to ride through parks.
I did some research and saw a hybrid bike is the best option for us. But if anyone has a better recommendation please feel free to share! But I came across this bike and wonder if it’s a good bike, a good brand, and if it’s worth buying at the price point. Ideally we wouldn’t want to go past $500. Because here in NYC you can only ride for a few months out of the year. All advice and responses are appreciated thank you!
