Every day, Nathalie travels by train and e-bike in Devon. We join her as she disembarks at Exeter station, unfolds her Estarli e20.8 and nips to work at Exeter Library.
In this film she shares her #myestarlistory about saving time and getting to work without breaking a sweat.
In the holidays, Nathalie and her partner take their bikes around Europe in the campervan.
The Estarli e20.8 was key to making cycling less daunting for Nathalie.
Her favourite feature of the off-road e-bike is its shire power!

[Music] I like the power I like being able to go up a hill and not worry about it I’m Natalie we’re in exter and I’ve got a easty 20.8 so I take the 752 from honon along with the students so it’s a bit of a squeeze it’s really easy to fold once I worked out where the um weight balance was and everything um it took a few tries to kind of work out where to best hold it and then I lift it up take it on and then just wheelie it into position and then to take it back out I basically reverse that and once I’m on the platform it’s just a quick fold out and snap together so that works well saw someone named their Ginger the other day we joined the Facebook East stly Riders club to see what people were saying about the East stys and um it’s a lovely community on there you get to recognize some of their names and what where they’ve been and stuff like that which is lovely they were all positive about the 20.8 so we decided to go ahead with it and I absolutely love it we got the 20.8 because of the extra power that was the most important bit for me and soon as I saw it I loved it I loved the color actually I love the matte finish we test rode quite a few different ones but this one kept standing out and so we yeah we took it for a a ride from um the bike shed and really enjoyed it takes me I think it worked out 13 minutes to get back home it normally takes a good 35 40 minutes to walk so so no brainer really and I can say that I cyle 4 miles a day it just makes things a lot easier and a lot less daunting I’ve always enjoyed cycling really enjoyed it I used to live in Plymouth and I I worked at the library there and I cycle there and back every day when I moved to exor I got out of the Habit a bit so Steve my partner is very much a cyclist he’s done parts of the tour the front you know just um by himself and so to try and keep up with him was difficult and so plus um I got the job I live in Holton and I got a job working at ex to library just drive in is a nightmare the bus is an hour and 20 minutes so I decided to take the TR but we live a good couple of miles out of the main part of Hunton away from the train station so and it’s down a massive Hill and up a massive Hill so okay we thought the best idea would be to get them an electric bike so that I could get to work easily and not sweaty so and it’s done exactly that I cycle down to the station every day and take it on the train take it to work and then back at the end of the day and it’s absolutely brilliant it stops me um looking a mess with when I get to work we’ve got a van we go we in the van and so this folds and um fits directly under the bed so it’s perfect I’ve got a very romanticized image of um cycling around France and picking up a baguette each morning so that’s exactly what I Jolly well did cuz we tend to find a quiet campsite so which tends to be outside the town or the village and it might be short cycle in to the shops and the B leries and everything like that this always makes any Journey a little less daunting especially if there’s a hill involved traveled down the Doo and the vien and basically hardly used any charge either which I was really happy about because a lot of it is flat there so that made a lot of difference obviously but um you know you can fold it up and put it away and it it doesn’t disturb your daily life with a band so it’s brilliant this this trip we’ve just been on um we took it we cycled along the river we stopped at towns and Villages along the way and you know sat in the cafe had lunch cycled a bit more explored a little bit more maybe went in the river and then you know we just maybe explored places that we wouldn’t because the van’s big so we park up and we might just stay there for a while so we’ve been able to just get out a little bit more so my other half Steve is thinking about the getting the 20.7 cuz he is the cyclist of us two so it’s quite funny me overtaking him now when he’s on a bike a normal bike but he thought if you got the 20 point s and he’s got half a chance of keeping up with me this time
