England sure is pretty Mountain biking at Longridge Fell. England on a dry sunny spring evening is just great. Cracking views over the moors. Looking back at the footage of this ride while editing was a a joy for me. Some good memories on this one that were etched in deeper because of the weather which we all know isn`t the best in the North west of England but this was bang on the money.

who’s the monument Bill who where it’s only right in front of me who is it ah beautiful isn’t it especially when it’s just so green fresh oh it’s getting there though some of them trees are a bit walking through that so it is a lovely summer’s eve and as always we are straight into a climb nice it’s where the climb really starts i fell but yeah nice i’m fortunate enough by being at the bike i never open gates i’m never quick enough to be at the front craft yeah another one oh nice one thanks a lot Bill and [ __ ] go bushes get your [ __ ] hands out all them pine needles ow ow ow ow ow oh oh I’ve approached this all wrong them brakes are so noisy aren’t I right when it opens up Gordon you go past me oh right oh yeah no worries yep are you a bike yeah up up up so everything looks so much different mordor isn’t it the Shire is weeping bit of a push hiker bike but it’s dry we’ve come through in the past and it’s been absolutely as hard pushing as it is anything else is that boggy or Yeah there’s roots all over Bill made it to the top and it’s about to open up i believe the uh the vista will open up may not come across to the sun in the lens we shall see that pendalum bear snake there you go the knowledgeable of inform bridge white down that way beautiful scary isn’t it beautiful so we’re going to nip through the wall in a second and go through the pee bog although it won’t be a peak box because it’ll be dry and you’ll know exactly what I mean when I say dapple sunshine like it kind of I’ve said it loads of times it’s like stable lighting into my mantra on the feet dust yeah I took a tumble onto it wall here when it were wet i’ve got the helmet safe that all right take your time Chris i’ve just been commenting there Chris right i’ve took a tumble here coming down here i’ve just been commenting on it stingy shake it off take your time and it definitely is contributed to the the lines that you take because of that sunshine it’s so dappled and it’s right in that right eye line it just I know I’m laughing but it’s kind of really sketchy so you got that with it being like concrete boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom wowers got the money shot on Chris taking a tumble i was saying Chris has just took a tumble going down there well I did something similar last week at Havoc and although I got up you know pretty quick and it wasn’t a massive fall I definitely bruise both thighs at the top to the point where it’s still a little bit sore it’s not got to the point where I can’t pedal but I definitely feel it as we enter into the woods as you can see there’s a definite change in light a few stop there it’s these these big divots and turns they just catch you out well oh that’s what it is the branch all catching the branch you can see not a wellridden trail yeah these divots there’s one here look you don’t want much but when you get in them you just check your wheel and you got the branches sticking out didn’t I say I would find an excuse gloopy loopy loopy loopy at least it’s not gloopy oh it feels so soft with the pine needles but bumpy it’s a strange one oh I’m sure we just been up here [ __ ] we just been here just climbed up this haven’t we oh it’s sometimes so hard following another line isn’t it you think I would have gone that way people must do that behind me all the time cuz they go where you going on that one on the feet on the seat chase the dust doesn’t it feel good when you just do the smallest of pops it is such a It’s like an achievement now there’s a clear difference in light i have up the exposure slightly in the hope that it will film but you come down here Jon yeah have you Is it you that’s put the stones in have you put the stones in that nearly caught me out heavy bump that went a bad climb come on here now this is where a good wheel pop and bunny hop and stuff like that come in i kne pads backing up oh my helmet’s sucking everything yeah yeah it’s just that I’m stuck on the bike whoa is straight on i’m going to cross over and join the other one over there in a tumble it’s lovely jubbly whoa bit heavy on front brake got some balls that’s a rock you can jump in it yeah it’s a good jump that but it does take it needs needs looking at a few times and then it’s doable yeah yeah continue oh wow wow that is that is gorgeous i mean England is a beautiful country i know what Jonno is doing i know what he’s doing it is picture time it’s beautiful isn’t it yeah i took a tumble didn’t I got me later caught up in the bike thankfully and I mean it the knee pads did exactly what they were supposed to do cuz my knee it walop on that uh rock haven’t got time to blink get your feet on them pedals car and keep them on keep them tight on Steady away and let him let him go for a minute what down there all right yeah I think I’ll go this way with Bill and watch him tumble again or would it be me or Chris there’s absolutely no natural light through here is there the eyes are watering and the lens have filled up i said I find an excuse didn’t I the eyes have watering and the lens has gone easy just at a point where you don’t want it to when the light’s fading the last thing you want is a [ __ ] smudgy lens uh are we up yeah yep right i’ve been told this is called Curvy Corona by the guy that helped put it together the logs here are well placed yeah oh I think if you know the trail you’re not so bad cuz you can hit it with some uh confidence maybe not me see for those who watch it and fancy coming themselves curvy corona and then went into whatever this is called maybe I should have had me lights on oh that contact wind is definitely impacting you know the the squidgginess like it’s stuck in the eye it’s a ball pass so that’s it from Long Ridge for now i’m going to leave it at that there is a a fair old descent but I don’t think I’ll be able to capture it because of the fading light it’s fading pretty quick the sun’s just set until another day my friends ada ad
