hi Doug D’vorak here in beautiful Talon Estonia Third country on our biking tour of the Baltics 2025 Started in Lithuania then drove through Latvia ended here in Talon Beautiful old city Baltics are an incredible region and I highly recommend that you check them out I’m walking through Oldtown here in beautiful Talin as you can see Incredible architecture here at the Walled City Country 148 53 more to go CarpE travel I’m really amazed at the public outcry for support of Ukraine here in Estonia I’m here at the Russian embassy and amazed at all of the support here for Ukraine It’s an outpouring Estonia Latvia and Lithuania have been occupied for centuries And really when you talk to the people in and around the Baltics specifically in Estonia the Russian threat is top of mind I believe they think that Putin clearly has his eyes set on the Baltics and expanding the former Soviet Union [Music] No I don’t think it’s that way as we go always Hi I’m here in Oldtown Talon Estonia with Kaye a very nice native Estonian who is studying at the university here in media studies Hey Kaylee how are you hi I’m good How are you tell us a little bit about Estonia and what are some of your thoughts about Talin i know we’re only 40 kilometers from the Russian border any thoughts on the situation with Russia and with Ukraine uh yeah I think it’s a little bit scary to us too because we are so near at Russia So we don’t know what’s going on because Russia is a little bit sneaky So it’s scary to us too I think Yeah Well thank you for your time and thank you for your lovely shop Incredible Estonian Arts and Crafts And say bye-bye Kaylee Just happened to get off of Main Street in Oldtown and found a beautiful adventure around every corner here at a Dominican monastery All sorts of al coes and fun places to find beautiful architecture in Talin There’s an adventure and deep history around every corner Check it out [Music] Oh yeah that’s good
