Just completed ~36 hour overnighter with good friend in Southern WI to Southern Kettle Park Unit from Milwaukee area. 50mi and about 2k elevation each way with perfect weather.
Turned out to be quite the adventure with many fun and surprising interactions and sights. Surprise water crossing, meeting a Norwegian running across the US, random neighborhood bagpiper and more. Adventure overdeliveres at every turn. Can't wait for the next one!
