YouTube videos like https://youtu.be/FNAbMKp-EA4?si=-MoMla89UWu1vyXu&t=210 show the Fox 34 SL supporting a 3-position remote. But Fox's website at https://ridefox.com/pages/fox-34-sl says only 2-position. Meanwhile, their Twinstick remote page at https://ridefox.com/products/twin-stick-lever talks about 3-position.
I'm actually looking for a 34 SL Stepcast. Fox lists this at https://ridefox.com/products/fox-34-factory-sc-grip-sl as "push to lock," which I'm assuming is 2-position. But I don't know if that product page is correct given the above comparison. Does anyone have the new 34 SL SC with remote to confirm?
I'm also curious about mixing and matching suspension brands and remotes. For example, will the RockShox Twistloc 3-position remote work with Fox 3-position suspension? Does it pull the appropriate / same amount of cable tension for Rockshox vs Fox? I'm asking because the Fox Twinstick looks difficult to use, requiring two clicks to go from fully locked out to fully open and vice versa, which seems really dumb.
And just to make things even more confusing, I'm wondering how a mixed setup would work with my 2-position, push-to-lock 2-position Float DPS shock combined with the 34 SL SC, assuming that fork is a 3-position remote config.
