New Worcester Woods Parkrun Course: Best Route Yet!

good morning good morning you join me on route to my local park run Worcester Park run and for many it’s known as Worcester Woods for the past few months there has been been no Woods involved at all it’s been a kind of frankensteined three-pronged out and back and this is due to the the field that we used to run through getting really boggy during the Rainy winter season so we’ve had to avoid the field and the organizers have been doing their best to create our course but I won’t lie it’s not been a a great course but today they’ve uh they’ve managed to solve the issue and so Worcester Woods Park run is returning to the woods and so I’m pretty excited I’ve seen the route preview and it should mostly take place in the woods itself so two laps no out and back dogs are allowed again seems to be uh the perfect solution so I’m hoping that it goes well and I’m looking forward to uh giving it a go it will be an easy one today as we do have the 5K run around the river tomorrow where I’ll try and go sub well sub 21’s the plan um you know really wanting that sub20 but I no I’m not there yet and if I go out at sub2 PACE we’re just going to have a misery uh like I know that so I’d rather go sub 21 and then pick up if I can I think that’s the better strategy let’s get to Park room the dog went when you started you stood [Applause] still ma once again chasing after boobs my story Chas TI Chas the ti she thinks that might beat [Music] oh I know you’re [Music] [Music] smiling aerody a in the [Music] cheers [Music] Marsh thank you cheers not that way anymore that’s a quick Corner that as well oh that’s nice found myself pick up seed part of the train yeah yeah yeah oh this is good this is nice fire yeah Happy Valley we got bunching on this one morning [Applause] I got doing the Andy I’m doing the handy shot there we go [Applause] [Music] cheers you too have a good thank you cheers thank you [Applause] just my than man
