After crashing a couple of months ago with my laptop in my backpack (the laptop was somehow not damaged), i realized that i could use a decent backpack that will significantly protect a laptop.
My laptop is quite large (17″… it’s a mobile workstation with a graphics card, so it’s heavy. 8lbs/~4kg)
I do like my current backpack. It is a Chrome waterproof 20L backpack (an older ~2015 version of [this backpack](https://chromeindustries.com/products/waterproof-urban-ex-2-0-20l-backpack), but my backpack is too small to fit a hardshell case [like this (case width=13.4in case width & backpack width is ~12.5in.)](https://www.amazon.com/DOMISO-Shockproof-Waterproof-Lightweight-Protective/dp/B0C1FWH2VK/)
My roundtrip work commute is 16mi/25.75km & i commute with my e-bike (FLX Babymaker II).
