What’s going on, troops? Welcome back to the channel. Today, I’m off to Sammy Miller’s Motorcycle Museum. I’m going to head down there and then as soon as I arrive there, I shall show you around a car park and then uh head on inside. Catch you there. Uh there’s plenty of parking for cars out front in a large grass area. There is also motorcycle parking around the back sighted alongside more car parking spaces. Upon entering the museum grounds, you can choose to either go into the on-site cafe or you can he straight into the museum to see the vast variety of bikes on display. Once you’re inside, you’ll be greeted by the incredibly friendly staff at the reception. You can buy a guide here. We was told that the best way to go was upstairs first, so that’s where we headed. [Music] The world’s premier motorcycle museum. Situated in the heart of the New Forest, the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum is home to around 500 rare and exotic motorcycles from all over the world. [Music] Sammy Miller, MBE, is a motorcycleycling legend, 11 times British trials champion and winner of over,400 competition events across various disciplines, all whilst developing and maintaining his own machines. As you can see here, he has silverware in abundance. [Music] Spring opening hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 7 days a week. They do recommend you allow a minimum of 2 hours to view all of the exhibits. [Music] Unlike many museums, the Sammy Miller Museum is a living museum. Almost every motorcycle on display has been fully restored by Sammy Miller and his team, and many are regularly driven. [Music] I’m having fun. [Music] I was lucky enough to meet Sammy. He truly is an amazing man, having achieved so much in his lifetime. He’s also an incredibly downto-earth and friendly man who spent quite some time talking with me, a moment I will never forget. [Music]
