We started our ride at 4:30 AM from Putney Bridge with one goal: cycle 120 miles all the way to Bournemouth! I was joined by Jasper for this epic adventure, and I planned the entire route using Komoot — and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best cycling routes I’ve ever ridden.
From peaceful morning roads to scenic countryside views, this ride had everything.
📍 Start: Putney Bridge, London
📍 End: Bournemouth
📏 Distance: 120 miles / 193 km
🗺️ Route: Planned on Komoot
🚴♂️ Follow along for the highs, the challenges, and everything in between.

Looks like a brilliant ride ❤
Great ride 😊The New Forest is worth a day trip and ride it’s cycle heaven
Biking in the cold without gloves is crazy.
Looks like a great ride. Scenic countryside views make me want to go and explore as well
Great video as usual. You need to bring a gravel bike to New Forest mate. It's a whole new level of gravel.
Great content has always, are you going to do the dunwich dynamo night ride 12th July ? That would make some good content Hackney marshes London 8pm start a 112 mile ride through the night to get to dunwich for sunrise on the beach ?

@avocado komoot is the boss! That's what I use
Do you have the route to share? Thanks
Looks like a tough ride guy's ❤
My rule of thumb is: gloves, always. It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
Wicked ride bro.. any climbing..or largely flat
Great ride fantastic editing the filming the sound all great and even the music for once is nice and chilled you owned that ride dude well done.👍💪🥇👌🎥🚴♂️
Where was that around 7:10? Great ride and strong performance. This is great timing as, after 16 years living in Vancouver, I am moving back to the New Forest area on Thursday! Can;t wait to get out on the bike on those roads again.
For anyone who would like to attempt the route, here is the komoot – https://www.komoot.com/tour/2062601440?share_token=asjHZbUBznGJ8RV1gE7NzfCv5E95Zym2GE01lITK9t1vMaRtth&ref=wtd Good Luck 🙂
I don't know how you managed in shorts until it got warm, it has to over over 10c. Even then I'm still wearing fingerless. Apart from that good job on ride, some of those roads looked pristine, truly enjoyable ride.
What a great video. Very entertaining. Love the scenery, humor, music, and everyone seems so nice. Just subscribed.
Jasper is looking Triiiimmmmmmmmmmmm 👌🥑
The music is top tier 👌🏾
That was a top ride pal. Great scenery, especially getting to see the horses in the New Forest. Greggs saved your life man 😅😅😎👌
I've ridden in both directions but avoiding major roads. In the New Forest get on the smaller roads to get beautiful scenery and a lot less traffic.
Going west was harder than going east, going across Surrey.
I rode from close to Poole (near Bournemouth) to Fulham, crossing the Thames on Putney Bridge in 2022, then the reverse in 2023. Both rides were with my son.
We plan to ride eastbound again this year, from my home to his. That'll be in September. He's 42 and I'm 77.
Enjoyed your video.
I ha
Nice bike adventure. Enjoy watching your vlog.
