  1. If there was one aspect that the FA should take from such an exiting game it’s the way time is measured
in Rugby. How many times in football matches do you get this stupid use of a secret person deciding on
injury time extra minutes. It destroyed the tension and makes a mockery with players wasting time and
getting away with it. In rugby when the ball goes dead a score is made they just stop the clock. A fake
injury and cheating they just stop the clock. It’s so much better and more tension building with close
finishes, the players know exactly what time is left. Brilliant England using every last second to get the
win. Definitely deserved and even all the glory worship by the commentary team for the French failed
to dampen the fantastic English win, really playing as a team fighting till the end.

  2. Scintillating England win! Okay, France missed a try and Marcus Smith lost his kicking boots. But wow! Exciting stuff. Man of the match? Fin Smith sure why not. Any England player really so don't feel not appreciated. But for me? Anyone called Earl or Curry. And Daly for that run. That run! Just superb!!!

  3. 1- Ellis Genge 2- Jamie George 3- Will stuart 4- Maro Itoje 5- George Martin 6- Tom Curry 7- Ben Earl 8 – Tom Willis 9- Alex Mitchell 10- Finn Smith 11- Elliot Daly 12- Ollie L

  4. I rarely ever watch Rugby, I often find it quite a hard sport to watch when you never grew up with it.

But this was so exciting! I wish more games was like this. Great fun!

  5. But all that apart…. I just want to say to all the English players.. Thank you so much guys. You have restored English pride. … Our Dunkirk spirit,… Our,….we just keep going, we don’t quit mentality.

  6. At under 20s world cup new zealand got 6 england 4 france 3 south africa 1,and in 24 england france 23,ireland get half their team from abroad a english coach and no grumble from us grow the game and what not,but these pundits are making it so much harder for ireland to win in future with sour grapes especially as england and france starting to show just maybe northern hemisphere sides really coming good from said two teams mention, the sour grapes is gonna be massive fuel for england especially now,we played well plain and simple as did france ,england at best france at best there's nothing between them in my book, and I think both teams in future world cups are going to take some stopping, ireland it's like with pundits they are panicking there dominance is clearly coming to a end,the overseas player rules have hardly been bad for you,you should be grateful not sour grapes.

  7. Just hope Borthwick starts only going for it always or fantastic talent and world cup winning opps go,england always play better when then always go for it,going for it seventy percent of time don't work for us,we're hung ho it works for us.

  8. Here I am some days later from posting my previous comments. In the hope that a few of our English rugby players come here to watch and to read comments. .. I want to say to all our English players just how very proud you guys make me feel. How very proud this old man feels of you all. You didn’t quit, you didn’t lose heart, you just kept going, believing, fighting for each other, fighting to prove yourselves and your own abilities. I am so, so proud of you. Thank you 👍👍

  9. The early on nearly try that Dupont puts down, should have been Penalty England. Early on Maro Itoje is over the tackled french player and he does not release the ball.
What is the offside rule? because the french player is clearly off side for their first try.
And the last French try there are clearly two forward passes.

  10. 1.06 Commentator: "That white line is the try line." You don't say! Also 13.33: "England ahead for the first time in the 80th minute." Err, maybe not!

  11. Hi my son is paralyzed from the waist down following an horrific accident when he was 29 years old. Great post all what you mentioned was totally correct. I do not have a dog in the politics race but lets all smell the coffee and be nice to each other

  12. Only one clear chance to score for France there with Dupont ineptly dropping the ball. All the rest had cover. England missed 10 points at kicks. France were lucky to stay in the game being outmuscled not sure what the French are whining about, well deserved win for England.
