I picked up a Trek verve 1 Gen 4, a kickstand, and the lil bag from my local bike shop for an about 450 usd. Real good people. They threw me a few other options that I tested out on their track. I feel good about this one. The shop gives you a free year of service when buying a bike which is nice. I LOVE this color too. I wanted something more black-grey, but saw this matte-ish indigo/cobalt blue kinda color and I love it. I got it 3 weeks ago and I’ve already gone about 40 miles with it. It’s pretty comfy, but I’d maybe like to upgrade the seat.
It’s labeled as a hybrid bike, but I feel that it’s definitely a road/pavement first ride. I’ve only taken it on smooth paved trails so far around southern Michigan. I’m currently traveling for work to Columbus OH. I’ll be here for a few months. If anyone has a favorite trail they’d like to recommend I’d love to hear about it. The all trails map shows so many and it’s a bit overwhelming lol.
