We had a busy day today
We spent the morning in The valleys and Hills of Parc National Du Mercantour, narrow roads but stunning scenery.
Anca got herself a rock from the Gorge de Cien as a memory. Other people take ashtrays or hotel robes or slippers. My gal takes rocks from the side of the road!
We had a couple of reasonable rain showers and of course like always when we finally put on the wet weather gear from that point onwards the rain stopped
Our day has ended taking a room in Cagnes sur mer opposite the beach, no not sand, rocks, a few beers helped get the day’s chores done, washing clothes charging tech and backing up videos.
From this point, it’s all heading homewards
[Music] we are on the D 902 road we’ve just left where was it my girl and um yeah patchy Blue Sky running alongside the river it’s a little bit cool yeah neither of us have been this it’ll be interesting for C up there yeah extra large uhhuh okay here we go yeah wow it’s quite an overhand now this was this was actually part of the two the France this year too this road yeah yeah the oh few rocks have hit down there wow I’m looking up there you go girly and all right okay we stuck we go go ROM go [Music] ROM come on oh here we go come on come on yeah they wouldn’t be able to touch that National beautiful waterfall coming down from up top Nice Bridge over there another biker up the top too very nice ah just if you look up if you have the video yeah you look up and you see like that the big you don’t want to wrong there no all clear [Music] very uh interesting rock formation across the way car coming it’s got a trailer on see if we can get uh that little bit of a overhang as well so don’t run over a cyclist process yeah it’s like you can play papers is a rock cyclist motorcyclist and a car and a truck looks a bit that wide too very beautiful scenery yeah stunning oh yeah nice so you had that on camera yeah I have that on camera okay um unfortunately you don’t get a very good view of it um you will there’s a car coming and I’m filming up the river I’m going to looks nice that was really where oh is that the oh look at the amount of dir roads yeah heaps car there’s bikes coming yeah let them go yeah yeah well we’ll ride until they’re near us and uh they can pass us if they want what is looks like a marmot yeah well and a few post pointy bits just beautiful look have you look at the red side on the red side side yeah okay is the video still on it’s on okay different uh different pine trees different trees all together y so oh it’s just the the the Rocks uh what’s shooting between the the trees nice now you see these rocks they like balancing yeah at which point I’m going to pass next one and just I hope not yeah okay Vel so we’re no doubt coming to the top okay there’s a few bikes uh parked up here we’re in an area something to do with red rocks and we just saw a few a little bit of a red tinge on the left side of the road nice look at that yeah okay one and here’s all the red put the camera back on because most probably you’ll see on it’s on oh so now we will really see some red yeah wow so we are in the G yeah hello hello okay now you can put the green amongst the Red [Laughter] Rock now we can put a bit of any 2400 M long so what’s he looking for rocks that are falling yeah well I bet it’s a regular thing to come out look at the whole fresh The Rock on the side of the road yeah you can go and have a look and uh gorgeous if you want oh yeah they’ve had a bit drop down here you can see that scattered on the side yeah that looks a bit bigger that one yeah I’m wondering if you can right with this uh rock well stop stop and pick a piece up or else just just have a look on the road you’ll see you’ll see the uh red marks from where they Fallen oh a wow it’s a bit of a balcony yeah you look at the rocks at the top and you’re like yeah there’s a lot sliding down that Gap there nice it’s a long way up there wow look at the colors up there oh look at the road there beautiful can I just go in front and you can just you’re in front I and fil me nice oh so nice you’re still on video yeah yes yes yes just amazing I love the the green and the Red Rock and M the boss all right I’m going switch it up now just get boring this is more and more of the same it’s a red rck that’s it sprinkle of water and to look way up [Music] trampolines you wi them yeah the trampolines there to bounce the Falling Rocks off hopefully uh-oh there’s nothing now beautiful area again yeah you feel so small in the course oh yeah I us to go in the course you know a bit of altitude look at that one up ahead oh dear that is so high do you remember what this Gorge was called I know the other one was seon whether it’s the same one or not I don’t think this is the same because it’s a different was mulon uh color uh what is mulon a color no oh but is yeah just the the color red yeah oh good all right I’ll switching this off so we find oh yeah you still filming yeah I am but I’m going to turn it off so just before you turn it off it shows that if you look at the Rock on the side it’s like someone build it yeah it’s layers layers in the bricks yep it’s a very interesting look at that over netting on that one oh yeah oh sh the roads covered in black marks because um that’s where they’ve hit I don’t know in which gear I am so yeah oh you’re good you’re doing great we are on the opposite side of the valley to all the Gores and we’re heading up the hill yeah we decided to go on both Sid yeah we wanted to see bid off the point yeah um the road’s great yeah a bit more switch Pags than uh you’d prefer uh no it’s not that it’s not prefer it’s just um just more just a comment yeah get more switchbacks Yep coming through a little Hilltop Village well did did you notice what it was called ret or R reel uh you will notice at the end of the Town yeah Hoy worldy very just stopped put in our wet weather gear because of the rain looks like a lot of uh road work just around the corner from us isn’t it today a work day yeah but it’s just gone 2:00 so maybe the 12 till 2 lunch breaks just going a bit longer than normal R A Paddle well they’ve got this what I I was able to wash my foot but I e on oh I’ll just turn the camera [Laughter] off oh well at Le at least has been a little bit of rain uh spraying up from your tire to uh onto your boot you know that’ll give it a wash that’s all right my boy it’s all good yeah some sort of a fortress on top of the hill there yeah would have been a challenge just to get there let alone climb up and attack someone gilet the town we’re in I think Gillette or gilet Gillette yeah [Music] Gillette okay no uh tables are out for the bar or anything wow there’s a long way down [Music] there that’s a big smoke what’s what’s this town is it nce or no it’s uh something with just okay yeah okay um we’ve got one tiny little patch of Blue Sky up ah above and that’s it [Music]
