Hi, I’m a Carer for my Wife who has Multiple Sclerosis. As a keen cyclist, I’ve decided to use my passion for something worthwhile. I cycle around Kent a couple of days a week for fitness since spring 2022 streaming my rides on twitch. So I thought I’d include raising funds for Multiple Sclerosis Society Charity.

It’s quite quiet because it’s bank holiday. But what you find is most of the cars are in the countryside tearing it up in the country lanes. I’m heading towards [Music] Canterbury. And I think that’s what I used to be able to do no hands all the time as you used to, you know, when you were younger. But that’s that’s as far as I get. I think it’s cuz me spine does this or something like that. It’s not good. There is a a really really nice chap in Singapore. They used to do a lot of cycling, but now all he does now is walks around Singapore, play games and stuff. And he had to give it up because he hurt his back. Uh I feel like I could be going the same way. But I couldn’t walk around and do streaming. No, I couldn’t be one of those peoples. Kudos to the ones that do motorbikes. I’ve had a couple of motorbikes. I’ve nearly killed myself on a couple of motorbikes. Literally the last time was the last time that was it. Give it up now. All because of some bushes. They were obstructing the uh the stop sign. I didn’t see the stop sign cuz of the bushes. And then I went, “Oh, I went over some white lines.” And then the next minute I was in the It was a similar intersection like this. And uh I ended up stopping finally in the central reservation in between the two roads, two dual carriageways. Luckily, there was nothing coming. [Music] But it’s good that we’ve got these cycle lanes, but the majority of them are useless cuz they’ll just stop up here and go, “There you go. That’s enough of you.” We’ve gave you enough path. And on the back on the way back, it’s through the it’s through the uh Pilgrim’s Way, which is a an old an old road that’s basically just used for people walking their dogs. Now, proper little country lane where you can imagine a horse and cart going down there. that type land, you know. That’ll be a bit rough undulating up and down.
