Hey all, 5 month old Roscoe 8 with barely 50 miles as I’ve been riding my road bike lately. Anyway, major loud squeaking from the brakes since I got the bike but the first time the trek store said just need burnishing etc. anyway, went for some
Single track fun yesterday and the squeaking from brakes was super loud. Took it to the trek store and the guy said rotors pads needed cleaning etc. I said fine, so far so good. Picked up the bike this morning and the squeaking seems to have gone away but before I loaded the bike in the car I notice super low clearance on the rear tire and paint chipping off where it looks like it’s rubbing. Talked to trek employee and he said yeah that’s normal cause the 2.6 tires at max clearance etc. Wanted to check here with all of you and get your opinions. Is this normal? Much appreciated, thanks
