I've recently purchased an electric Brompton P-Line, and I've been loving it. But I'd like to get a bag that works with the bike for commuting, and I'm a bit confused about the options.

My initial thought was to get a rack back (probably Vincita's Nash Pro), as I'm used to rear panniers on a regular bike and it seems a bit front-heavy already with the motor and battery (I have the roller rack).

But everyone here seems to advise front bags are better, and they're certainly more common on Bromptons I see around London. Why should I be leaning towards a front bag? And what are my options with an electric? Brompton's website doesn't list any electric bags that I can find, so it looks like it's Vincita's Atlas e-bag, Valeria's Backpack or the extremely expensive Lumabag. Or are those Brompton e-bags coming back? Cleverly hidden?

Do these just sit on the battery mount? Can that battery mount take the weight? Do I need to bolt a frame onto my bike? Won't that make it bulkier when folded? Why this a better option than a rear rack bag?
