ABOUT SAXON SWITZERLAND NATIONAL PARK:
Saxon Switzerland National Park (est. 1990) is Germany’s only rock national park, featuring stunning sandstone formations along the Elbe River. Connected to Bohemian Switzerland Park in Czechia, it offers 400+ km of hiking trails and unique cycling routes like the Elberadweg shown in this video. The park’s dramatic landscapes make it a favorite destination for outdoor enthusiasts in eastern Germany.
