Fourth-year Bachelor of Accounting student, Jehan Munshi, shares what a Goodman exchange is like beyond the books! In addition to gaining an international business perspective, hear from Jehan on the benefits of his exchange through these experiences outside of the classroom.

🤝 Meeting New People
I was able to meet many people from different countries and experience various cultures. I made many friends in different countries that I plan on visiting and staying in contact with in the future. This program showed me how big the world truly is, gave me new perspectives and opened my mind to the possibilities in life.

🧳 Travel Opportunities
It is much easier to travel while on exchange, as I was able to explore my host country and many surrounding countries. Travel doesn’t need to be expensive; I stayed in hostels or Airbnbs when traveling with a larger group and even cooked food sometimes to make traveling cheaper. Ryanair and FlixBus were my go-to options for getting around inexpensively. I recommend getting the ESN card if you are going to Europe, as it provides additional travel discounts.

🌍 Having the Time of Your Life
I experienced and did many things that I had only dreamed of, from surfing to paragliding to interacting with locals and getting to know them. My life genuinely felt like a movie for those four months, and I will always recommend exchange as one of the best decisions you can make while in university!

I’m Jon, a fourth year Goodman student that went to Manhun, Germany on exchange last year. I attended Manheim School of Business and I’m here to show you that not everything you learn on exchange happens in school. And here’s what it looks like beyond the [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] classroom. Yeah. Do it. [Music]
