Just as the title says, I've started a relatively new YouTube Channel about Bikepacking and Cycle Touring. I am a relative beginner to overnight cycling and staying away night after night, and in fact will be involving the camping aspect for the first time this September when I cycle around the complete coast of Sardinia with a friend.
My intention is to aim the channel at everybody but with a feel for teaching and learning. I'm definitely more in the learning camp!
Currently I am using my Sardinia trip as a focus to aim and pitch videos towards. I have a short video mentioning what I'm packing, which is more a cry for help to ask if I've missed anything glaringly obvious! The video can be found here;

I currently work in Saudi Arabia and hope to soon produce a video on the problems and strategies involved with training for an event when your climate and terrain do not replicate the chosen destination. I lived in Sardinia for 3 years, back in the 1990's and while it can be warm, the average after work temperatures in Saudi Arabia are immense by comparison.
I have also managed to lose 19kg since I began training for this year's trip from Rome to Calabria, back in March. I'm pretty sure I'd lost the weight but Christmas but I'm pleased to say that the constant cycling has enabled me to keep it off!
But back to the idea of the Channel, I was wondering if it could become a place to post other people's footage of their Bikepacking/Cycle Touring videos? Not everybody can be a professional traveller or have the time to dedicate constant videos to a platform but might like to showcase their videos to like minded people of a trip they took? Just a thought.
Anyway, if people can think of what videos could benefit people the most, be it kit reviews, training, weight loss tips and of course footage of the amazing trips then please look me up on the YouTube Channel.
