What up? What up, Mr. Delivery Guy? Sai back with another installment. Hope you guys are doing incredibly well. Things are going to be a little bit different today. So, instead of doing deliveries, I’m going to be talking about Door Dash taking over from Deliveroo and basically just my thoughts on it. Probably not the best area I picked. I basically cycled down to Wolfam Cross and Chzant. I was going to do deliveries here, but I basically changed my mind. So, I basically cycled down to Wolf and Cross and Chzant. Probably not the best area I picked. This is rated one of the most dangerous areas in Hartford or Hartford Shire. One of the things I’m looking forward to with Door Dash newly taken over is they’re an Americanbased company. So, there’s a very high chance that they basically push for tips even though we’re in the UK. Oh, what a beautiful bike shop. Susiki. I can never say that name. Susiki. But yeah, I need to stop getting distracted. Yeah. As times can be hard, especially with inflation, if we do fortunately get a push for tips with Door Dash taking over, that will be incredible. Just going to be going through all the positives and negatives that I can think of because it is quite concerning, you know, waking up and hearing that Deliveroo is no longer really Deliveroo. But before I uh continue my positives and negatives about Door Dash. Well, saying that, I hopefully they don’t change your name from Delivery to Door Dash. That’d be so weird. But yeah, I just want to show you uh how the bike looks now. So, I’ve done a lot of modifications to the bike. I basically put a thicker seat on for comfortability. Also, I have low rider handlebars. Um, two batteries, so doubling the range. So, easily, this is 40 amps together, so you can easily get like 80 to 100 miles of range. Um, yeah, I think that’s pretty much all the upgrades I’ve got. And moving on to my next negative that I hope that doesn’t come to Door Dash. It’s so weird saying Door Dash is I really hope they don’t introduce the acceptance rate feature where basically if you decline too many times it can put a ding against your account and possibly you can be removed. Really slow traffic in this area. Hopefully that hopefully that’s not due to a a crime happening because this is a pretty dodgy area from uh from my research. This is basically moving up to Chasant. I did cycle down from Liverpool Street. But yeah, if the acceptance feature goes into full effect and we have to basically accept every order. That is going to be a big headache because you’re gonna basically have to accept them McDonald’s orders to keep your acceptance rate up. So on and so forth. Really hoping that isn’t a thing that goes into full effect. Do want to say though this low rider position really good for deliveries. God, I hate these portable traffic lights. They always take longer than the uh the standard ones. I will say though, I am looking forward to Door Dash taking over because they are a very large Americanbased company. So they’ve got a lot of money to put into advertising which Deliveroo really have been doing pretty well in the UK because there has been a lot of Deliveroo adverts and they did become profitable for the first time ever. But yeah, fingers crossed Door Dash really pushes uh for advertisement cuz they got a hell of a lot of money for buying deliver roof. I think it was3 or 4 million. Don’t know if that was dollars or pounds, but 3 or4 million nevertheless is a lot. There is one slight negative I could possibly see is because they’re an Americanbased company, it might slightly isolate them from the market. um especially as you know Deliveroo is a UKbased company. Hopefully they don’t make it very obvious that it’s a you know an Americanbased company but with China basically being one of the biggest providers for everything in the world currently. I don’t think personally it’s the worst thing uh you know helping out America and uh you know delivering for an Americanbased company. I don’t mind it too much, but I know it’s a touchy subject. Really is a lot of traffic at this time, though. Now, I do want to put out there, I’m not super worried or anything like that. I’m just putting my thoughts out there that, you know, popped into my head and I thought, you know, what’s better than doing a video explaining my thoughts on delivery in one of the most dangerous areas in Harfordshire is beautiful though. For Hartford here, still stunning. Have to admit though, the further out you come from London, these uh not a lot of bicycle lanes and is getting pretty tight. So, uh yeah, I might head back in a minute. I do have to say though that Deliveroo being profitable for the first time and then being bought out by one of the biggest American delivery companies is really good publicity cuz they do say all publicity is good publicity and in this instance pretty much I think they’re correct but to be honest with Deliveroo they have really flooded the app with so many orders. They’ve really restricted too many delivery drivers being on their app at once compared to Uber, which lets basically everyone on board. Yeah, you got to give hats off to Deliveroo. They have really held their ground. They have really captured the food delivery market. So, hats off to Deliveroo definitely. One of the things I don’t really like about areas like this is that there’s not a 20 mph cap, so cars really can zoom past you fast and close, really get you off guard, and you basically don’t feel safe at all. Food delivery videos will be commencing soon, but yeah, I’m very busy at the moment. That’s why I quickly, while I had a spare hour, thought I’d ride down to here, get a video on the go and give it a go. But yeah, with the upcoming months and years, we will see what basically is going to be happening with Deliveroo, if it’s going to be rebranded, if it’s going to be more profitable. Hopefully, they keep the app as restricted as possible. so it doesn’t get oversaturated like Uber. That’s one of my biggest dreads. But uh yeah, most likely I think it’s going to be positive. But just wanted to do a little bit of venting, put out my thoughts, and yeah, if you guys enjoyed this, be sure to hit that like and subscribe. And uh yeah, I should be back with videos pretty soon. My go-to drink when delivering is Holi. And here’s why. I’ve noticed I don’t get heartburn at all when using Holi. When I would use other sweet sugary brands of hydration drink, I’d get really bad heartburn a couple of hours into delivering. You don’t have to carry heavy water around with you. Just buy water when you want to use one of these bad boys. God, I’m going to have to chuck this top away after this. And has a super slim form factor. So, just pop it in your pocket and pow, you’re good to go. They’re so delicious. I already had one. And these only have four grams of carbs, so you get straight hydration without the carb bloat and has a plethora of flavors, boasting only 20 calories per serving. So enough to put a pep in your step without running the risk of catching diabetes like other sugary dense drinks we all know of. And if you’re looking for any discounts, I’ve got the discounts down here. And one of the things I absolutely love is all the starter sets are free shipping in the UK. So with all these discounts, if you’re in the UK, you should definitely give it a go. But actually, let’s get down there and unpackage this bad boy. So, one thing I love about the Holy Hydration Starter Pack is they really, you know, they put a lot of effort into their packaging. When you open it, you will be pleased to find out it comes with the actual shaker, which has like a little filtering system inside. And it comes with 14 of their flavors. Really good flavors. Um, as you can see, stay hydrated, uh, Futelicious Powder with natural flavors, no BS. So, just really good quality product. Um, I have already uh had seven of the 14 sachets that are available. So, yeah, I was loving it a bit too much, but I’m well informed for this video. Now, one thing I absolutely love about the Holy Shaker is it comes with a screw on, screw off lid. You don’t really get that with a lot of shakers these days. So, yeah, really actually pleased to see that. And that’s all it takes to have super hydrating vegan low calorie drink on the go. So, let’s give it a go. M. That really is quite delicious. And thank you Holy for being today’s sponsor.
