Yesterday me and my friend went on a long bike ride from Uppsala to Stockholm. The headwind was relentless! Not even one single minute without the wind pushing against us. We started out going around 20km/h but the longer the trip went, the slower we went and the break time extended.
My friend rode his road bike while I pedaled my Brompton, but we managed to match each other’s speed the whole way. Despite battling the constant wind, we had an awesome time with a lot of laughter and crazy talk. If anyone heard us, sorry not sorry.
Today, however, I literally can’t use my left thumb. Constantly shifting the derailleur gears on my Brompton C-line M12R seems to have completely worn out the muscles. Now I can’t grip anything, it’s like the muscle just disappeared overnight. Totally worth it though and will go on this trip again soon!
I can't wait to go even further with the Brompton, it's such a capable little bike.
