Good morning. Welcome to Pedals to Pistons. It’s another fine morning. 5:15 a.m. Early start. Needs to be back. Got a lot of things on today. But um no, it’s all good. My uh we are up early because my friend needs to be back for eight o’clock and we’ve got the Dartmore Classic coming up in 7 weeks. So 100 miles, 8,000 ft of climbing. It’s pretty cheeky. So today we are doing 30 mi with 3 and a bit thousand ft of climbing. So we’re going to do Pork Hill again. Um, Cork Hill was quite tough last time, so I only did it for my first time a few weeks ago and it was pretty disgusting. Um, it is lumpy. The downhill at the end is worth it though, like they say. Um, you know, every climb is worth it. It pretty much is. This downhill is pretty special and pretty quick. Um, so we’ll see how fast we can go down there. Um, but today looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day. You can see the sky coming up already. And uh yeah, we’re going to get our heads down, get some climbing in. We were hoping to do 50 mi, but then his wife dropped it on him that he uh he needed to uh be back for 8:00. So, uh here we go. Anyway, we’ll catch up with you in a bit mid ride. Let’s go right now for the night. But I’m used to a fight, not a new sight. Left, right, left, right, head roll the dice. No regrets. I finally be the final. Be a better me. My destiny is to invest in me. Request to be the best leg. I got dreams and they feel so I got stupid. It’s all right. See, cuz I do this for my mind. It’s time for a fight of the war. I want more. Yeah, I said I want more. Took a life full of hooks. Time to even the score. Ah, where this is why we get out early. We are almost at the end of the first climb. As you can tell, can we take a minute just to look how nice this is now to the edge? The sun’s not even up yet and it’s beautiful. Doesn’t cost any money other than the kit. Coming around the corner now. Take a deep breath in. Can you feel that? That’s one in a billion. We’re one in a trillion. A life has been given. A life is worth living. I don’t want to miss it. I’ll get up and get it cuz I got a vision. So, we’re halfway through the ride and I don’t know if you can see the telegraph pole. It’s up ahead. Sorry, not telegraph pole, communication pole or mask. That’s where we’re headed. So, we’re going to lock in and get this bit done. See you in a minute. Got amition. I’ got the energy. I’m on a mission. Passion interition. I made a decision. There’s a lot of hills, but I will the second time on Pork Hill today. Hasn’t felt as hard as the first time. My legs are still a bit sore from last week, but I’m feeling in a good place. He’s almost here. And now we can uh we can pick up the second bit of the ride. So charismatic. Got to live static. Got to get at it. Never pragmatic cuz we live tragic. I can’t live to be a magic. Turn it up in the back. Everything I want get in my way and I’m stabbing. I 6 like an addict. I got my eyes on the street. I want to live till I die. I want to give those reason. I want to live every day like it’s my last night. I want to change all the stand. I want to start a re. I want to start a re I don’t break down, you can never break me. I’m going down, pushing till I’m daisy. I’mma pop down babies hate me. I’m a trust my gut, you obey me. I’mma give my blood. Don’t save me. Never enough. Still chasing every single dream that I pass.
