I recently lent a friend an old gopro 8 for him to film his road cycling trip around Pyrenees and as he was learning, it really inspired me to learn more about how to make better video… rather than 10 minute long unimaginative single shots with my action cams that I wouldn’t even watch.
So I went on my first Bikepacking trip, and set up my Insta360 Go 3 on a Pro Standard mount and an Insta360 X3 mounted on Peak Design POV adaptor strapped to a shoulder strap on my Hydration pack.
Shot, and edited all with Insta360… using their iOS app. Much to be learnt about shooting (need more content), cameras (the lens protectors on the X3 – glare! Dirty!), final bitrate (I should’ve maxed this out), and going a bit too crazy with transititions… I’m learning.

The most fun bit was actually riding!!! And i hope this encourages maybe one person to go out and bikepack!!!
