just Tun Up the Depo now I’ve got a 2 and 1/ half hour block for £60 and it is quite close to Christmas time there were blocks going for like like 3 and 1 half hour blocks going for like 84 8750 um there was a 4H hour block going for like 90 to 100 but 2 and a half hours is still £24 an hour still pretty good and I’d rather work Less hours if if that makes sense just cuz get taxed a little bit less as well like it kind of balances out a little bit and also They Don’t Really send you that far when you’re doing like shorter shifts so I kind of save money then on expenses so yeah it works I feel like personally for time and just how much you earn it kind of works out better um in the long run so that’s just my opinion anyway so yeah 2 and a half hours I’m just in the queue now and yeah we’ll see where we’re off to right finally got the parcels and it took absolutely ages at the Depo I was there at like just gone 5 3 I thought I’d get there early try and get an earlier block but I was sat there waiting until 20 3 and then I scan the QR code to get the route and I’m I’m with O2 right and the the the connection around there is just really really bad so I was waiting for ages then trying to get connection which is kind of my fault but yeah it’s fine yeah it’s just one of them so yeah on my way to the first delivery now and luckily they’re all in a in a very very tight cluster so I should be I should be done quite quick fingers crossed and there’s a lot of like Parcels that I can just post so that’s that’s also just will save me loads of time just waiting for people to answer the door and stuff it should be a good block I’ll take you along with me and I don’t think there’s going to be much talking in between the delivery so it might just be a block where I just completely deliver Parcels but we’ll see because they’re quite close together so I might not have time to like you know put the camera on and talk and whatever so I’ll I’ll try and talk in between that shift was £60 and I ended up only doing 24 miles which is a pretty good shift in all that means my mileage expense was £4.54 I use Journey price calculator to work that out like not a lot of people do it that way but I do it that way just so I can put money aside for like my mileage and wear here on the car and whatever that brings it down to £540 6 now the tax then is £19 on that and then that brings that down to £44 37 now if you divide that by 2 hours and 25 minutes no 2 hours and 15 minutes which is the time that I was actually out on shift for that’s from when I left my house to when I come back that’s just how I work out personally how much I earned for the duration of me being out of the house that brings my total to £197 2 an hour that is take home that is with everything deducted well not everything actually I need to now deduct the insurance because inore take I think I’m paying like20 per hour that I’m I’m out delivering so if we minus let’s say £250 that brings it down to £41 87 and then divide that then by 2.25 brings it to £860 an hour that is everything deducted that’s that’s not like you know cuz some shifts I’ve done where it’s been like I’ve I’ve taken home like £10 an hour right that’s like after all the deductions people have been like oh that’s that’s below minimum wage and all that well no because minimum wage is before tax anyway so it it it would be even less if you on minimum wage but yeah all in all very good shift £41 87 earned from 2.25 hours not too bad at all so yeah thanks for watching and catch you the next one
