Today’s tandem ride sees us cycle one of our old favourite routes around part of The Gower, somewhere where both John & I grew up.
Our families have lived here for generations, there’s not many places we’ve not seen or visited around here.
I am always surprised at the amount of vehicles who speed around blind corners, or who overtake on blind corners and you’ll see a few close calls on today’s cycle ride.
We had never been able to cycle up The Wern on our previous tandem, it was just too steep. This was the first time we had cycled up on our new tandem and we were so thrilled.
Our other nemesis was cycling up Cefn Bryn, something we’ve not done since the mid 1990’s but again, Tilly did not let us down. It was such a great feeling when we reached the summit.
We live in an amazing part of the world and we’ll never get tired of cycling around it.
