  1. Basically, we have to be like we should always be: polite, respectful, kind.

Good info for my trip through Sweden and Norway in June (or July?) 2023.

    Thanks

  2. Hi Robert,
very, very good video! Well done!!! Well explained!!! Very good infos concerning gravel roads!, behavior and respect to people and nature!!
    Simply excellent!
five out of five possible stars!
It actually makes me jump on my bike an go for some gravel roads in Sweden next year.
So much useful informations in only 20 minutes, great!

Go on and maybe see you next year….

  3. The map resources are really incredible.
However if i was foreign i would probably bring a little cash. Some places wont take card and only an app called Swish, and since you cant get that as a foreigner it might be a good idea to have enough cash for a meal or an emergency

  4. My Swedish friend summarised this into a simple sentence: Don't take anything but pictures, don't leave anything but footprints (or tyreprints when you're on your bike).

  5. Man you nailed it. Thank-you so much! Very insiteful and now looking forward to taking a bit a Scottish love to Sweden, & yeah i’ll bring the respect you talk about. Thank-you. Tak? Regards Mark Reynolds.

  6. So I find myself wanting to move to Sweden more and more. I also have a love for sport bikes. My question is would I have to give up owning a sport bike? With that much gravel it seems like I would be limiting myself.

  7. Great episode.

  8. Mycket bra video!

  9. I moved to Sweden this month and you just answered all the questions I had before watching! Thank you incredibly much, I cannot wait before I get my motorbike here. She is still in the Netherlands and she will come to Sweden via Mongolia. (Yes you read that correctly :D)

  10. Thanks for this!! Really useful info also to use and keep in mind here in Finland. Hope to come and explore some of Sweden next summer 👍

  11. "Being right is not important ", this sounds poetical …I will explain this to my German boss..:) But now talking seriously, your video is really good…!!Thanks so much for the valuable tips. In fact, we should behave like this everywhere.. Great video…!

  12. Great video! So many usefull tips like the NVDB map and other types of maps! And don't forget the true swedish way of handling a conflict… clench your fist, go home and punch a pillow xD.

  13. Hi im swed i have ride in many years but not now im to old. One thing they didnt tell here is:If you lit a fire use the firepits that is prepaird for it and not on the ground and check if there is restrictions for to lit a fire . Depends on how warm and dry the airia is. And the most important SE SO THE FIRE IS COMPLITLY BURND OUT NOT EVEN THE SLITEST SMOKE SHOULD BEE THERE ,BECAUSE FIRES CAN AND WILL SELF START AGAIN AND WE HAVE A FOREST FIRE. THAT YOU CAN HAVE TO PAY FOR IF THEY GOT YOU. Many people think that because the earth is wet there will not burn but thats wrong, in a moss the fire glow and dry bit for bit in the ground and in a moment it burns up to the surface and start an open fire. so please use water to put out the fire not a foot.
