Sunday Morning Ride Out On The Classic BMW R75/5 Down In Liverpool City Centre Through The Tunnel Over To Birkenhead Then On to New Brighton Quick Mooch About Then through The Tunnel And A Quick Ride Around Bramley Moore Dock, Anfield, And Goodison Park Evertons Last Game There, Post Match Celebrations On County Road After a 2-0 Win against Southampton.

Morning everyone. Just off into Liverpool then over to New Brighton. Just out on the old gale today. I’d left me keys for the Africa Twin. Uh George Ste and Terry. They’re off on a Terry’s tour around Wales. I’m on call today so I couldn’t make it. Gutted. Missed the last one. Looked a cracking day. The weather’s just beautiful, in it. I was going to meet them, meet up with them for a coffee, but I’d lost my keys for well, I’d lost them. I just forgot to bring me keys. I only had the key for this BMW. So, we’ll have a little hour out. Just head over head up to Liverpool. Nearly in the town center now. Have a little nosy round there over to New Brighton. Maybe Burken Head. See how we’ll push for time. I’ll see how it goes. So, we’re just heading into town now. Have a ride past the uh Bombau church. The uh there just dropping down now to the Bombau church. Rodney Street with the Al Bondo Church. That’s nice. They got a little marker on and stuff. Totally no insides to that. [Music] Chinatown on the [Music] right. I think we’ll head towards the cathedral. Empire. signs of that place. Yeah. If you’re ever in Liverpool and you get the chance to go in, go inside. It’s absolutely magnificent. [Music] We drive down Parliament Street now. Drop down to the waterfront. Got uh Kane’s B brewery on the left. Lots of bars and street food stuff in there. Gets very busy. Camping furnace on the corner there. [Music] Yeah, it’s all up and coming down this end on Parliament Street. Really nice now. Always has been. Look, loads of lovely houses and stuff. All the old seafarers houses and stuff here. Love a little wander around the Albert [Music] Dock. Baltic fleet there. It’s a nice little pub. Albert Dock to the left. Liverpool one over there to the right. Do a left there onto the Albert Dock. Have a little ride around there. Glorious [Music] day. The daffodil there. Have a drink on that. They do food or [Music] whatever. Rock Bank. They’re doing a bit of renovation on that place there. The pump house on the right. Little pub. few boats in the M&S arena. Fetal [Music] story. See right across there’s a B and head can [Music] leads like a war couple of warships in there. Yeah, it’s Everton’s last game at Goodison today. So, I might have a drive past it, ride past there on the way home. See how busy it is and how we push for time. What a glorious day. bit of open water swimming. That would be nice in there now, wouldn’t it? Yeah, George. Little swimming spot for us. I got everything there. Slides and everything. [Music] Nice view there [Music] now. That’s quite loudly around here. Oh, what’s going on in the water? It’s coming past the L buildings now. That used to be clubs bar. Changed it now cuz he’s left the thing for three graces it’s called now. [Applause] cruise boat in the ambition. That’s an old church there. St. Nick’s church being down underneath that big uh big cellar in there just at the front. So we’ll go over the uh Burkin Head tunnel on the way there. We’ll do the Wallacey one on the way back and come out on Scotty Road. Then have a drive up to um field and Oh, stalled it [Music] then. Might edit that out. Bit embarrassing. It’s hard work on this. It’s uh clutch is heavy and it’s just getting the revs right. Radio City Towers, St. George is all on the left and the museums and stuff. Some nice old buildings up there. So yeah, just in the Bin Head tunnel. I get over into this left lane. Might have to have me lights on here. They working now or what? He hasn’t got his lights on. I’ll leave them on anyway. Yeah. So, the tunnel’s tunnel’s free on a motorbike, so you don’t have to pay. Just keep left when you come out and there’s a uh there’s a motorcycle lane. Just ride straight through and it’s free, which is a bit of a bonus. [Music] Nice and mellow going through on this. Another tunnel there. Must be a service tunnel there. Oh, you can see the light. See a couple of minutes through there. Quite a long tunnel like see motorcycles free. Go to the left. Yeah. A little lane here for the [Music] motorcycles. Bad railway station. This is the town center. Tell you what, there’s some lovely houses over here in Burken Head. big oldfashioned houses. And uh this is Burkin Head Park now. And it was actually uh Central Park in New York is actually modded on this, believe it or [Music] not. Yeah. There’s the entrance to the path. [Music] I’ve never actually been in, but it’s supposed to be lovely in there. That was a bit of a piss around. Uh, Race for Life was on, so it was all detours around the town center. We’ll have a little mooch down here anyway. Couple of ships in them. old uh American warships have gone. They were they were just docked there where that one is. Looks like an like a helicopter platform or something. That load on. See if we can get a bit closer to it. [Music] Oh no, it’s usually a bit further down that I get get in [Music] there. Old sunken boat there. [Music] some old dock buildings. Don’t know whether I like them um new apartments on the [Music] right. What you think? All the boats in there. I love these old dock buildings. History that they must have. It’s unreal. Look at how well made they are. Never get nothing like that again. It’s one of them over by Evans Newgrounds. It’s like a little clock tower thing. There’s the uh Liverpool to Belfast B terminal just be doing all that building up. E oh it’s all fired up there. All smoke coming out of it. Must be ready to go out. There’s the exhaust for the MY tunnel. Get all the fumes out. Got a little painting on the wall there. Scouts will know what that place is. Tell you what, have a little nose down there. Oh, look at that. But a view of Goodison, not Goodly Moore. [Music] [Music] Yeah, look at that for a view. Lovely there in it. I think you can come straight down here from New Brighton. [Applause] There’s Everton’s new ground. Good view of that as well. There’s the old girl. Oh yeah, look how nice that is there. There’s Liverpool docks over there on the right. Few people fishing. Lovely. Down the coast here. You just forget what you got on your doorstep. Stunning. They’re just coming into New Brighton now. Nice little village here. See them out of the m. What was Andy? Just dropped us down onto the seafront. Let’s get out this traffic rock on the [Music] right. busy here today. Mind you, a lovely day on a Sunday. Why [Music] not? You see Liverpool over the other side. There’s the old crane [Music] docks for Perch or Perch rock, whatever it’s called. [Music] A lovely day here. Beautiful. See the windmill farm out there. Look like tid’s out a bit. Fort perch rock. Damn busters escape room. I think someone actually lives in there. Yeah, lovely [Music] day. This is as far as you can go on cars or bikes. [Music] nearly freaking cut me off then, idiot. Seems a little bit dark at this tunnel. So, we’ve come back through the uh Wally tunnel. We went went over on the buret tunnel. I don’t even know whether I’ve got any lights on there. Can’t remember where the lights are. You can see lights at the end of the tunnel. So, just come out on Scotland Road. We’ll have a little ride up to Anfield Stadium and Good and I’ll do us then. I wonder what that noise was. The exhaust on that Fiesta. We’ll stop a quick look at Everton’s new ground while we’re here. Looks nice from there, doesn’t it? All futuristic. It’s like a spaceship. The old tobacco warehouse. I think that’s it is. Yeah. Tobacco warehouse that getting done into all apartments. Son’s Cafe nice in there. Chinese Titanic [Music] Hotel. There’s a new stadium. Used to be able to get in there. Spin around here.   1. Enjoyed that great little tour down memory lane. I sang in choir at Anglican Cathedral in 1968 aged 10 and St Nicks church is where we assembled when the fire alarm went off at the home office on Water St many years later. Nice one Davey and on a classic bike too.

  2. Excellent ride around Glendos , worked all over liverpool in the 80s British gas we were under the cathedral in the catacombs I had to go every day and wrap a leaking gas pipe the tunnel came out near the Albert dock 😎
