Cyclist like myself when cycling in such an environment cycle at walking speed those that don't are giving the rest of us a bad name. Lots of councils want to encourage more cycling. Try Amsterdam or Copenhagen cycling and walking works well.
it's rubbish. I just cycled through town, past the showroom, castlegate and Nursery Street. There is no need for cycle lanes round West Bar (complicated and slow) and the 'lanes' in Fargate don't go anywhere. Also, the path on the pavement aling Penistone Rd is way too busy .. cyclists particularly ebikes need to get on the road going South.. and if you're in a car there's 2 lanes for goodness' sake, don't shout at a cyclist on the road who's only under the speed limit by 2mph 😅 thanks Tim

You visited the City Centre. Your very brave! I try to avoid.

What I will say is that town seems to be very busy Saturday afternoons when I've been travelling home on the bus
I wonder where all the people are going because there are no shops
It's too confusing
Cyclists have no obligation to use cycle lanes, anywhere in the country.
The usual Kafkaesque council nonsense.
I blame the idiots who would vote for a wheelie bin if it wore a red rosette.
😂😂😂😂😂😂

Fargate also needs a lane for phone zombies too 😂
