Some tips to avoid problems in renting a bike in Paris

[Music] Hello there. Nice tip here to do pair is to ride the bikes regular bikes. The blue ones here are the electric and the green one that I can see here are the regular bikes. Uh this one is the le brand. So there are some brands of bike rentals. Uh I I’m using this one. How do how do we use it? I had a lot of problems uh trying to rent it and stuff. First of all, I use this card that is the kind of uh the public transportation. So, I I saved it for €3 for one use and uh it it took my credit and I had a hard time getting it back. I I got rich with the with their customer service or they say that I that I used and I had to to fill form very stuff. It didn’t work out. Then I didn’t know how to use it. Then I I started through the app. I purchased this this they do have this this app transmobility and the Philip is the is the app of the the bikes. So I’m I purchase it through here uh using a code choosing to receive this code. Okay. So, uh, the first time I did it, it it worked fine. But the second time, uh, I lost the the the purchase because, uh, when you get to the app, you buy with a card, it has to validate through your bank uh, app. So, when the time that you went to the other app and came back, the the screen moved and I I couldn’t get the other code. So I wrote them asked for the code. They they sent me the code. Maybe using two two mobiles. You can you you may be be able to purchase it without using that screen. Okay. So normally we do have a€ 3 uh charge. I don’t know if it’s because of the onic names over here, but that’s kind of expensive because I saw some videos of €1. Uh nowadays the transportations they are charging 4 each ride. Uh they double it for the day. Normally it’s it’s two €2. So I guess maybe happened with the bikes too, but I’m not sure about that. So you have some some some options to choose. You can pay uh a three-year ride which gives you grants you uh 45 minutes of use either electric or regular bike and uh you have a a full day there are many options but I chose the full day one with for a 5o for a regular bike but you can use 30 minutes each time you ride but within 24 hours of uh of usage. So that’s very interesting. If you choose for electric one then it costs you €10. Okay. And then you have other plans three days to more for more days. But I think the cost benefit of it of one day is sounded to me nice. You have to use 30 minutes leave it do some stuff and then grab another one for another 30 minutes max. So, I recommend you to come over and get the bike. I’m going to use that code to to validate. And there’s another code they send me. Uh there’s a eight eight digit code and then a fourdigit uh final password or something like that. That was my birthday. The day and the month. First the day and then the month. And uh I’m going to try to see it will work out cuz I I had many problems. We have to pay attention with that. Maybe lose some some some money trying to rent this bike. Back there is the station. Uh it explains stuff. I tried to reach them to for customer service, but the lady answered then rang up. And uh now I’m going to do some riding. I’m not going to show here in the video, but I just wanted to show you the station. It could be painted or or like this. They got all the bikes on it. Let’s see if we could work out. Well, here’s the the the final thing. After some some problems again, I called the service and they finally they they gave me a correct code, final code of four units. And now I got the value. Time to road to Paris. Let’s go. One thing you have to be careful uh is to stop the bikes. I stopped the bike right in front of the Bumar ship. Then I came here to get a a tax text tax back and uh the time just kept rolling and kept charging because I have to use 30 minutes. So be careful. Then I I searched for a station. I couldn’t find a station through it kept sending from wrong places but I I went to the avenue there back there and then I found a place to to stop. So you have to put in the the slot the right slot to stop it. Otherwise if you pause it, it will keep on charging you. So I already rode I I thought I paused there to record another video and I did it more than 1 hour. So I’m supposed to ride 30 minutes, but the time kept kept rolling and uh kept charging. Huh. Be careful on that. Now I stopped at this lock and I will see if we work to leave from here at the bomar ship. Very nice place to go. I recommend you. I just coming back here while I bought some wines can get back. I didn’t have my passport on. So I’m supposed to come back here and with the passport because they scan the passport. That’s it. [Music]
