Sometimes, your ride was not what you thought it was going to be. Embrace it! That’s how I felt when I rode at Las Virgines Canyon in West Hills, CA, attempting to ride Switzerland and/or Ireland trail.

Lost Virginia’s Canyon Open Space Reserve. Nice. Okay. I guess little obstacle. Oh my god, look at all these medals. What’s up everyone? Hope you guys are doing great. In this video, me and my brother-in-law were trying to go up and down either the Switzerland and or the Ireland Trail in Los Virgin Canyon that’s located in West Hills, California. But that ended up not happening because not only was it 90° out, but we spent a little over an hour trying to plow uh through these plants that you see right here using our bikes going uphill and adding resistance by going through all these plants right here cuz the trails were overgrown. So, we barely made it a quarter of the way. We were just going up quarter of a mile through all this hell that we went through and we ended up not making it to the very top to enjoy uh Switzerland or the Ireland trail. And also, I didn’t prepare properly for this ride. I I didn’t log into my DJI account for my drone. And when that happens, um when you don’t log in, it disables a lot of safety features. it kept uh running into these bushes and these plants every time I try to get a shot and and there was a limit on how high and how far I could take it. In one instance, I was trying to get an overhead shot of me going uphill using my drone and I didn’t have enough control over it. So, it’s hit some of these plants right here and just ended up in all these plants. So, it felt like a needle in a hay stack, literally um trying to find it. So, I spend about at least 15 to 20 minutes bush diving in this extremely hot weather to end up finding it. But anyway, I always enjoy these memories and laugh it off. So, hope you guys enjoy. Woo! I heard something move. Yeah, sound like a rabbit. Yeah, as long as it’s not a rattlesnake, I’m good. Just don’t sting me, you bees. the hell. Holy. Right. I don’t know if this is the path to go up, but I’ll find out. So, this is what one day of raining looks like. Huh. Holy [Music] mother. Yeah. I’m not going to risk it. Let’s go back down. This is going to go for another 3/4 of a mile. Oh Oh my. Is weed whacking a sport? Maybe after this. Yeah, I think so. Now crazy. Yeah, it is. Switzerland and Ireland, it’s all hype. Enjoy the single track that’s left here. Oh. Oh yeah. Yes. Okay, we made it back safely. Hell yeah. Oh yeah, I know. It’s time to go home, right? God, dude. Yeah, that was brutal. This place. I know. But at least we got some good single truck right here. Yeah. Ah! Oh, yeah. As long as I feel this good breeze, I’m good. Man, I’m all covered up in pollen. Good thing I’m not allergic to it. Actually, I might be allergic after today. Like 90. Oh, right now. Yep. 90°. I don’t know what the hell I was thinking coming here at 90° weather. And that was the catastrophe that I went through last week. Comment below if any of you guys have ridden uh Switzerland or Ireland trails or any of the surrounding trails. Uh let me know where do you guys usually start and what’s the best way to get up there. I might just revisit uh going around this trail, but not starting from the victory trail head that we just started from. And hopefully you guys have a good
