I have been riding bicycles quite a bit for fun or occasionally for commuting, but always owned very cheap MTB’s. I am a casual but fit.
I was thinking of going for a hybrid bike so I could drive better/faster on the roads and at the same time something that would not kill me if I did end up on some minimal gravel. I want to avoid any bicycles with suspension. I live in a city and the area close-by is fairly flat.
I like the style and looks of the brand Canyon and was looking towards Roadlite 6.
Though the tires are a bit thin and apparently the comfort is not that great due to the angle you will have to sit at. I am semi-casual and sometimes also ride (slow) with my girlfriend so I don’t know how comfortable it would be.

I was also comparing with pathlite which looked nice but it has a suspension which is (imo) impractical as it is heavy and requires extra maintenance. (and aesthetically not pleasing)
Trek FX 3 I could get for around 1/3 cheaper in my country, so it is very inviting. Apparently it is a little more comfortable than Roadlite but slightly inferior specifications (but still decent). Though, I like the appearance of Trek bikes less.

Deciding on a bike has been more difficult for me than I had initially predicted. So I would be happy to receive some outside opinions or ideas.
