Each year, in the middle of May, a group gets together to ride 80 miles in 2 days around Lake Pepin on old British 3 speeds.
I've engineered a lighter weight version that meets the criteria, as it has an internal geared Sturmey Archer rear hub. This is a 1978 Raleigh Competition.
This is open to anyone and attracts people from around the country. Lake Pepin is a wide spot on the Mississippi river between Minnesota and Wisconsin. Look it up at 3speedtour.com
