  1. I suspect Cav was gifted this win as a a gesture from the other riders. Shows what can happen if you stay away from the barriers! πŸ™‚

  2. It looked to me like they all let Cavendish win and I'm fine with that, he is the sprinting GOAT, he's the Ronaldo of Cycling.(that last bit might be a troll)….Looking forward to seeing how Cav does at Le Tour.

  3. Thomas`s huge dissappointment of Gyro loss only the day before he still managed to congratulate and hug each Jumbo Visma team member straight after and then put all that aside to " in effect " act as a lead out man to Cav ! What an incredible act of sportsmanship and generosity ! The capo di tutti capi of sportsmanship and cameraderie. I`m more than impressed !

  4. Mmm wonder if there was some kind of agreement among the sprinters to send the little fella off with a bang..? Hard to understand that big margin..

  5. A lot of knuckleheads here. Do you all really believe the rest of the teams, with all they invest in a grand tour, would actually agree to let someone win a stage like this? Just remember, the larger the conspiracy, the more unlikely it is to be true.

  6. I believe that Mark is leaving cycling just because of this, because of he is missing victories, missing the happiness of be the best. He was not filling motivated to keep riding after many crashes.

  7. Kudos to Thomas helping out Cav get his 34th win.

We all hope Cav can make history on TDF simply because of the narrow for the sport and if not then he gave it his best shot.

  8. At :07 seeing that Jumbo Visma guy's helmet jiggling when he hit that bump made me feel so much better about by inability to avoid bad bumps while riding. I don't feel like such a noob now.

  9. Shame Gearing Thomas came up short in the end, but seeing him help Cavendish get a great stage win to cap his career was a sweet consolation.

  10. Mark Cavendish reserved the best for last πŸ’ͺ He came out from the pack flying and a win he really deserves πŸ‘ A race very well organised with a detailed GCN coverage. Congratulations πŸ‘ to
    All πŸ™

  11. Wow ackermann really embraced this "lets allow mark to win the last stage" , with method acting and all, including crashing out, being fined, and also losing UCI points to cover up letting cav win the stage hahaha clowns
