2025 Giratalia stage five from Chile Mesopeka to Matera. We’re leaving the region of Pulya and crossing over the border into Basilica. Not a region people visit often. In fact, the stage finish is a jewel of a town. UNESCO World Heritage site, Matera, the Cheita de Sassi. If you get a chance to get there once in your life, make the road trip and go for it. Riders going to be fighting it out for that win, but also for the pink jersey. 151 kilometers. There’s a climb, the only climb on the day, a cat 4 climb with about 27 kilometers to go. So, we have a mostly flat start and then the final one-third of the race is tough. After that climb with around 27 km to go, it’s going to be rocky rolly all the way to the finish in Mata with the false flat finish. Stage five of the 2025 Giratalia finishing in Mata.
