You have a limited time in Paris. You don’t want to miss a thing. And you also don’t want to spend your precious vacation hours standing in line. So, let us help you get through things a little bit faster here in Paris. Hi, I’m Jordan. And I’m Erica. And we’re your guys abroad. [Music] That wasn’t it? We’re Oh my god. Come at night if you can. This is lovely. No lines. Let’s go see what it’s like inside. So quiet. Belove is the most visited museum in the world. Up to 30,000 people visit this museum each day. And in 2023, they had 8.9 million visitors. So you can imagine how busy it gets. And while you will probably have to stand in a little bit of a line, let’s make sure you don’t stand in a huge line like the one right behind me. Actually, you probably will stand in that line. So, we have some tips to help you get into Lulu faster. All right, this first one is a simple one. Book your tickets in advance. When you are coming to Paris, make sure you just go online, book your tickets as early as possible to make sure you get the date and the time that you want. So, that is going to save you a whole lot of hassle. Number two is to know your line and your entrance. So don’t just come to this main entrance and stand in any line assuming that that will get you in because there are four separate lines here. So since you have booked in advance, make sure you find the line that is for visitors who already have their tickets or their reservations made. Now here’s another tip. There are other entrances that you may be able to use. So, you can head to the Lou’s website and see if those entrances are open and if there’s something that you can use and I’ll show you where those are. Another tip is to do a tour. This is a great place to do a tour and you get to go in through the group entrance. So, you get to skip some of this madness. And here’s what we’re doing this trip. We are going at night. So, Wednesday and Friday, the museum is open until 9:00. But just a quick note, the first Friday of the month, it’s free after 6:00 p.m. Other than in July and August. So, you probably won’t get much of a short line that evening. And I mean, here’s just a tip for skipping the lines in general. If there is a museum you want to go to, uh, chapel, palace, anything that you want to see, just book tickets in advance, head to their website, see if they do offer tickets in advance, most of them do, and just book it. Worst case scenario, I mean, you show up and you didn’t need to book in advance. You can walk in. Best case scenario, you get to skip ahead of the other people who weren’t as smart as you. Feel like on most people’s bucket list is going to the Eiffel Tower and going to the top of the Eiffel Tower. And if you are coming during a busy season, securing tickets can be pretty tricky. So, some tips for you. If you’re unable to get tickets to the top of the Eiffel Tower, but you still really want to go, you can get these tickets from resellers. So online resellers like Vio and Get Your Guide, they will have skipped the line tickets to the Eiffel Tower, but you will pay a whole lot more than you would had you book directly through the Eiffel Tower. So that’s an option if you really must go to the top. Another option is there might not be a line, so you can just show up in the evening and sometimes you might get lucky. All right, another thing. Skip the line. The Eiffel Tower. Is it worth going up to the top of the Eiffel Tower? We’re not going into that debate, but we will tell you again, tickets is pretty nuts. Pretty hard. Now, here’s two other options for you. First off, Arct Triumph. Right here we are. You can book tickets online a lot easier. Doesn’t mean you won’t wait in line once you get here, but boy, the line down the tunnel to buy tickets once you got here was huge. So, just book in advance, pick a time slot, and you’ll have a shorter line to get up to the top. You get up to the top. It’s 284 steps up. And boy, it is a nice view. And as Erica says, a lot of other people say, it’s nice to see Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower. So, you get a really nice view from up top. Second option, Galleries Lafayette. Go visit the opera house. Then it’s a department store right there. You get up to the top terrace area. You’ll see photographers up there and influencers up there. If you’re so lucky, get some really nice pictures of the Paris skyline. It’s open till 8:00 p.m. That is free. Doesn’t require a reservation or anything. Just check that out. And it’s cool, too, cuz the gallery has this amazing stained glass dome. You can go out on this walkway for only a few euros. You got to book that in advance. But anyways, really cool. Check out those two spots for skip the line and good view of Paris. All right, we’re going to head up. There’s no skip the line ticket available on the Shamsul for the Louis Vuitton store. Going to have to wait. Two tips, but we’re going to combine into one for this one. First of all, do something unique, right? If you want to skip the lines, go on like what we did was we went on a biking tour Versailles, a biking tour of the city, we went on baking class, two different baking classes. So, do something unique where you can avoid the line. Usually, you just have to book one or two weeks in advance to get those. Sometimes the next day is fine. Check our website down below for links to like our favorite tours in Paris. Number two, the only line you want to stay in in Paris is at Bulerie or a petisserie. The most popular ones will have locals lining up. Pisians don’t like to line up, so it means you’re really good. So, look for those places with lines, then you know you’re getting the best. All right, on to more. Since you’re heading to Paris, you are definitely going to want to check out our Paris itinerary. It has pre-planned excursion days that take you all over the city on a great route. Plus, it has the best restaurants, a transportation guide to help you figure out how to get around, and an audio guide so you know what you’re looking at when you are in this beautiful city. So head to yourguidesabroad.com/itinery to check it out. Number five, you’re going to want to visit Versailles when you trip to fair. This is not Versailles. This is Luxembourg Palace. We forgot to film this when we were at the Versailles a few days ago. But for skipping the lines of Versailles, here are some tips cuz the biggest complaint about Versailles is it gets so crowded, like shoulderto-shoulder crowded in there. So get there, try to get lined up at 8:30, right? 8:30 a.m. And then what we recommend is to go is go straight to the Hall of Mirrors because that’s like the most popular area. The other thing to do is to do the gardens first and then go to the hall of mirrors or tour of the palace like around 3:00. We did that and it was considerably less busy. Another tip is to do a guided tour. They’ll book the tickets for you, get you out there on a train. It makes it super simple. We did a biking tour and we had a wonderful job. It’s so nice that they had the tickets and they got us there late in the afternoon so it wasn’t very crowded. At least it wasn’t for us. Another thing is busy days. Tuesday is it busiest day. Some of the museums like the Lou are closed, so a lot of people go out to Versailles. Also, the weekend gets really busy. Best time to visit Wednesday and Thursday. So, we hope that helps with your visit to Versailles cuz it does get so busy and hot. A lot of people don’t love it. But with those tips, you’re in a better position. This is Beverly, our tour guide, and she has a really good way to kind of skip this long line at Securer. Beverly suggested coming early, like around 9:00 a.m., even earlier if you want to, or coming later, so like dinner time, 7 8:00 p.m., and you won’t have this long line. Although this does move quickly, you won’t have such a long line. Come when the Parisians and the tourists are all eating. There we go. Much faster. Much [Music] faster. One of the oldest coffee houses in Paris, Cafe Dlor. It’s famous for its clientele. It was a regular spot for famous authors and philosophers also Pablo Picasso and also the Barefoot Contessa Post from here. And I love the Barefoot Contessa. So yes, you can visit and it is fun. We have come here. It’s just a fun little experience. A little bit more expensive than other cafes, but there’s undoubtedly going to be a line. They don’t take reservations and you’ll often find a queue on the street. So how to help with that? Here are some strategies. Go for breakfast or and be okay with sitting inside. The terrace is lovely, but it gets really crowded. If you don’t feel like getting there for breakfast and you want to avoid the lines completely, there are so many wonderful cafes in Paris. They may not have the same history, but you can enjoy the ambiance all the same. So, as an alternative, find one that looks nice as you’re passing by. One of my favorite memories of a trip to Paris is walking by a cafe, deciding it looked nice, and then sitting outside with Jordan, getting some wine, and people watching. And right now, you can hear the the church bells of St. Germaine nearby. You’re going to want to make sure that you book tickets in advance for popular attractions. This is so important even when you’re outside of busy summer tourism months. So things like the Louves, San Chapel, Dorsay, the Catacombs, Pantheon, Versailles. Just make sure you book those tickets in advance. I’m going to go see what everyone’s looking at over here at Aloo. These tips are going to help you with your trip to Paris. I know it. I have confidence in it. You’re going to have a great time. We’re all about having stress-free travel. That is why you got to check out our Paris itinerary. It’ll take you all over Paris.
