Bratislava, Slavakia
Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is set along the Danube River by the border with Austria and Hungary. It’s surrounded by vineyards and the Little Carpathian mountains, crisscrossed with forested hiking and cycling trails. From 18th-century old town is known for its lively bars and cafes. Perched a top a hill, the reconstructed Bratislava Castle overlooks old town and the Danube.
Bratislava is most known for being a small and walkable European Capital. Having joined the EU in 2004, Slovakia became more accessible to travellers and the economy boomed. Bratislava is famed for its fun sculptures and cute old town.

It means “Bon appetite” in Frence and “enjoy your meal” in English She replied “Бпасибо” it means thanks She replied in Russian I don’t know if it is the same in local language or she is a Russian girl And, this is the starting point of those Party vehicles So, they are enjoying here If you go to a big strange city, you try to be carefull in the begin I have not that feeling here I feel like in my own country Are you from Punjab? Yes How are you? Yes, we are ok From East or west Punjab? From west Punjab (it means from Pakistan) It is a good start I just met 3 Pakistanis here in Bratislava One came from Saudi Arabia, One came from Vianna, Austria and one lives here One who lives here, was showing the city to others So, it was short introduction I have only 5 more minutes to join the walking tour And, I don’t want to miss that tour It should be the meeting point Here they are This is the centre of the city, here is the tour guide And there will be a concert today It has begun already They are warming up now And an Indian song is playing now So in the year of 1918 We joined our brothers, the Czech people from the Czech Rupublic And together, we created Czechoslovakia And then, in January of 1993 The country is split again into Czech Republic and Slovak Rupublic As, we know them today So, this country is officially created in 1993 And then in 2009 Here we adopted Euro as our official currency It means, Czech Rebublic and Slovakia was one country Know as “Czeckoslovakia” And these in 1993 split into two That became “Czech Republic” and this became “Slovakia’ Now Slovakia is in European Union And the Euro is also here the official currency The tour has begun And he is taking us to that main square That building was their Old city hall Which has now turned into city museum Dragons It is a big one There is one more People are also up on that tower Later, if I will have time, I shall also go up there I shall tell you a coincident When I visited Sofia, Bulgaria I met with a family there It was a couple They saw me there in Sofia I was making video there, as I am doing now here The same couple is also here in our group in the tour I did’t recognise them They recognised me well They asked me, if I was in November in Sofia?
