This is the first part of our trip to Europe. It includes Wilhelmshaven, Leer, and Oldenburg.

[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] he [Music] oh [Music] d [Applause] he [Music] he [Music] he villms hen is a coastal town in lower Saxony Germany it is located by the Bay of the North Sea and it is Germany’s only deep water port and its largest naval base [Music] he [Music] this Monument is of Kaiser vilhelm the guy the city was named after Kaiser is like a German Emperor this is a recast of the historic statue as the original from 1896 was melted down after World War II vilims hauffen translates to vilhelms Harbor this is a Harbor [Music] Town [Music] [Music] so just a quick overview of where we were we were in the northern part of Germany up by the North Sea here’s vills hoffen and then we went to Lear where my cousin [Music] lives [Music] we took a walk around leer here we are at a castle and anetta is on the left that’s my cousin her husband dear me in the middle ra and [Music] tumka [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] he [Music] a [Music] [Music] this is the school where dear is the principal or Headmaster he took us up to the rooftop for an amazing view of the town of [Music] leer this is the roof hatch that we came up through to get to the Rooftop [Music] in the afternoon we went back to anetta and dear’s house for some tea and homemade fruit crisp this was a very yummy cup of [Music] tea [Music] here we are in front of my cousin duck Mars [Music] flat they put out a delicious spread of breakfast items for us later we walked around town that’s Jim me Helmut duck Mar’s husband and [Music] duckar [Music] n [Music] n [Music] this building was used to store gunpowder from 1730 to 1765 during the Danish rule it is now turned into a museum inside on the upper level is a floor and in the center of the floor is this circular thing with movement we found it pretty [Music] fascinating [Music] you [Music] Happ [Music] yeah
