What would be the best way to patch this old (60s or 70s?) vinyl seat?

So although the seat is a little bit rusty the vinyl Is mostly there and it matches my bike.So i'm going to use the saddle properly but how should I patch up the ripped areas in a decent way.Or should I just leave it?
