Pair jailed after high speed chase through England and Wales

Two men who led police on a high-speed 90-minute pursuit across Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales have been jailed for a string of offences, including drug supply and knife possession.

Jake Fagan, 29, from Ellesmere Port, was sentenced to four years and eight months and disqualified from driving for over five years. Connor Mitchell, 29, from Chester, was jailed for three years and six months.

on the A517 um Chester Road uh the bypass area there. All patrols at the moment are behind um the helicopter. You can see on the downing in fact both of them um with his hands off the uh controls both on the phones. Yeah, there’s a small road that takes you underneath the railway which it’s taking now. He is going to pop back out I think on the A56 the main drag into Prochum. So my 21 it hasn’t come out of that bridge area is temporarily held. So if we can get a patrol onto the A56. Yeah 21. He was uh fueling on the move under that bridge area and it’s gone through on red. It’s going to be a ren no am I is going Contra. So, he’s heading to go Contra now on the M56. Uh, tracking westbound and it’s approaching the onslip and it’s going up the onslip now. Taking the [Music] onslip two on. He’s seeing the stingers. He’s doing a resip now. Taking the onslip correct side of the carriageway. taking the onslip back towards M56. Actually, it’s taken a near miss has just possibly clipped a gray vehicle and gesture all over the near miss with a white van by the petrol station and it’s now Contra on the offslip 21 is just temporarily held. It is yeah just over the bridge now ferry lane. So it will be coming out on Salty Ferry Road B5129. 21 just falls on its way past a pedal cyclist. Um just stand on by onto the um bypass road as such. Uh forcing its way through traffic. I don’t know whether the stinger was successful. Two on this vehicle is now up on the pavement due to uh congestion traffic waiting at the lights.
