Hi guys

On the easter bank holiday weekend we took a ride up to the lake District to ride some of the amazing roads up there and see some spectacular scenery

First stop on the way up was the Triumph Factory in Hinkley , this is the home of Triumph and such a cool place to visit, grab a coffee and have a look around the museum (which is free by the way)

With what started out as a dry day the weather took a turn on the way up and the heavens opened, it rained for most of the journey , we was praying this wasn’t going to be the weather for the whole weekend
We arrived at our accommodation and a little while after the rain stopped and was then good for the rest of the weekend

We took a ride through some of the famous passes in the area , Kirkstone Pass & Honister Pass , it did not disappoint

Hope you guys enjoy this first episode , Ep.2 Coming soon

So, I’ve been looking forward to that for a few months now. The first stop is the garage, top up the old fuel, grab a coffee and a bite to eat, and then we’re going to go from here straight up to the triot factory in Hinckley for some more food and a coffee and have a look around the museum. take you guys around and show you what’s there as well. And then straight up to the Lake District from there. So fingers crossed the weather will hold out for us. It’s supposed to rain, but we might be lucky. Might get away with it on the journey up there. Yeah. Let’s get some juice in her and uh get [Music] going. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] la. Nah. Nah. [Music] Nat. Hey. Hey. Bless you. Comes the rain. Hey, starting to spit. Yeah. Rock and roll. Don’t know what’s going on here. All these little cars. [Music] [Music] That’s that. Try a factory Hley. Well worth the visit. So, I’ve been there a couple of times before, but if you haven’t been and you’re this way, it’s definitely worth going in there. Really cool place to visit. Now we got a 3-hour ride up to the Lake District, which has gone up by an hour on the maps, which is not ideal, but is what it is. It’s just starting to spit now as well. But fingers crossed if it stays like this, it’s fine, but bit of a way to go yet. Got to qu some miles. Let’s crack on. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] I’m sure just over There on the left there’s a little glimmer of blue sky. I know. [Music] [Music] Heat up [Music] here. [Music] Heat up here. [Music] must [Music] Huh? I don’t know. Hello. Hello. How are you? Did we get round the butt? Do we got to go up there? No, no, no. You can drive right around. Drive around. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. And it’s that one. Right up on the edge. We go around the back. You got a cord. Excellent. Right around that [Music] way. Oh. [Music] Let’s go and have a look. It’s a quirky little [Music] place. Oh, and here we are. This is where we’re staying. We got a barbecue. Um, oh, hang on. I think we fell side. I think I think I think we’re that one. I should go move the bikes over. Yeah. All right, let’s move the bikes over. What a day. Here it do, won’t it? Here it do. Yeah. Yeah. Dad, put yours right over there. Cuz if if a rock comes down, you hit your bike first. Glad to get in now. Right. Let’s get get dried up. get in and have a look about. All right, guys. We finally made it to the house. Little farmhouse we got. It’s pretty cool, actually. Here’s the view. Literally out in the sticks. And uh the lady that owns it lives around the corner there. We’re up through here. [Music] The rain the rain hasn’t stopped most of the day. We got to try and the weather was good and we was like, “Okay, it’s not too bad.” Then as soon as we left, it’s been non-stop rain the whole way. But is what it is. Still been fun. This is our entrance. It’s well out the way. There’s one place there. Orchard barn. That’s where we’re staying. Failside bar. Ideal little place. It’s nice and quiet. It’s out the way. Bikes right outside. Toasty and warm in here. Oh, you got it. Here we are. Here’s the bathroom. Very oldfashioned. We’re using that as a drying room at a minute cuz everything is soaked. Got a master bedroom. See, it is very oldfashioned. Look, but it does the job. Nice comfy sofas, telly. And the best thing, nice cup of tea, dry the boots out. They’re a drench. Was it the kitchen? Yeah. Stay downstairs where me and Jordan are staying. There we are. On suite. It’s got everything we want. Ideal. Have a beer. Yeah, just chill out for the evening. Ready for tomorrow. Fingers crossed the road will be dry and it’ll stop raining. I doubt it, but fingers crossed. Ah, get the cup of tea. Burn your shoes again. Time to chill out and uh see you later. I got it. [Music] [Music] Let’s go. [Music] [Music] Lovely. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Oh, Ready? [Music] [Music] Right. I fancy an ice cream. Here we are. Castle redstone circle. Can our little butchers not? It’s just um only 5,000. You might be funny that old it. Castle rig stones. Yeah. Yeah. The mountain all the way around. Oh yeah. Tell the YouTubers what you’re lovely. Yeah. Cheers. Thank you. Lovely. Cheers, Michelle. Right down. Lovely job. There you go. Thank you very much. Rusty bread in your um ice cream mounts as well. Let’s go. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Applause] Heat. [Music] Heat up [Music] here. [Music] Heat up [Music] here. All [Music] right, guys. I’m out nearly out of battery now. I’ve only got 4%. So, I can’t record anymore. Loads of SD cards, but I ain’t got enough batteries. So, I’m going to wrap this up here for today. What a place to stop. Sun’s out. It’s nice and warm. It’s not too cold. It’s just right. Yeah. So, uh going to get geared up now and head back to the uh house. It’s been a good day. [Music] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

  1. It's a shame the weather wasn't better for you on the ride up. The Triumph cafe is our local haunt. I know I'm being a little pedantic, but it's Hinckley, not Hinkley.
If you have a little more time, the ride up through the Peak District is way nicer than the awful M6.
Nicely put together film. There's a brilliant cafe at the top of Honister Pass at the slate mine.

  2. Nice video, did that run a couple of years ago pity it wasn’t better weather for you , the place you stayed looked good and out of the way could I ask where it was and what it’s called always looking for decent options of somewhere to stay. Just subscribed 👍

  3. Great video thanks. Subscribed. Looking forward to episode 2.
Planning to bike up and round the Lakes this September.
