Gemini was (still trading I think) and Australian bicycle shop brand that imported family bikes that were cheap and designed for that market. They also in the late 80s produced some quality "serious" bikes. They made some pretty good touring setups and two good roadies, a Club 105 which was based on a Tange frame with Shimano 105 groupset and the Club Ultegra on a Reynolds 531 frame and a Shimano Ultegra groupset. This bike I got off a friend as a frame only and it was my first real training / racing bike when I first started into the sport. It gathered dust for many a year until recently I decided to return it to "stock" as best as I could with NOS parts. The only things from my youthful racing days to remain are the frame, Rolls Saddle and the Cinelli Stem and Bars. Everything else I scoured the globe to buy NOS. A folly yes but it's in my office now to stay.
