I’m Ryan with # bucketlist and in today’s video I’m going to be talking about five UK Park runs that I’ve not yet done but that I really want to do maybe you’ve already done these if so drop me a comment and let me know or maybe you feel like I’ve missed off some really really good ones in which case let me know about those as well because I just want to do as many as I can right then we got five to get through let’s get to it so first up then is Bushy Park in bushy in Teddington just outside of that London and this is where it all began right they’ve just celebrated their 1,000th park run check this out absolute lunacy with like 6,000 people or something all rocking up I don’t plan to do that one obviously um but it is kind of like a Holy Grail right for all Park Runners cuz it’s where everything started so I kind of feel that that’s one that I’ve got to tick off have you done bushy already let me know in the comments okay so the second of the five UK Park runs that I really want to do is Seven Bridge and on the face of it I understand this might look like the dullest park run ever right it’s just a straight line and that’s it but it’s actually a really unique part run because not only do you take in three different counties but you also take in two different countries as well both Wales and England um and you basically are running out across the original Seven Bridge my understanding is it gets a little bit Gusty out there at times um but the fact that it crosses over into two different countries makes this a really really unique park run which quite frankly is why I want to do it so the third part run that I want to do is Great Yarmouth nor Beach and this is probably not come as any surprise to anybody because this has been ranked as the toughest of all of the UK Park runs or certainly uh the England Park runs right um because this one is 5K and it is entirely run on Sand and if you’ve ever run on Sand you will understand that it’s a little bit tougher than on gravel paths or around the Parks uh that we’re used to doing part runs so this one is officially the toughest the times are the slowest and therefore I like to challenge myself and I really want to go and do this one not only because it’s so tough but also because it’s therefore pretty unique as well have you already done great yarou is it as difficult as everyone makes out I’d love to know go on leave a comment underneath whilst we’re on the topic of beaches and and sand the fourth Parr that I really want to do is wakum and H wakum also is ran on the beach not exclusively on the beach but some of it is on the sand and the views you get on this one are absolutely awesome it is also ranked as one of the toughest Park runs that there is to do including the somewhat Infamous Junes of Doom um massive sand that you have to run up and quite frankly I want to do it just to see the Junes of Doom I mean that sounds like it’s going to be kind of a bit of fun right to go running up that so uh have you already done wakon uh if so let me know cuz it’s one that I’m desperate to do and whilst in the west country my fifth and final UK part run that I really want to do is Summerdale Pavilion and I want to do this excl exclusively because of the curly whirly check this out I mean how unique is this uh it looks so much fun to go running around the old curly whirly section uh absolutely awesome a really unique course which just makes it that much more fun right there’s only so many just like parks that you can run around I guess um so I love the fact that this one offers something truly unique unique okay so there you have it they are my top five UK Park runs that I really want to do which ones have I missed out I mean there are almost a thousand UK Park runs now so I’m sure that I’ve missed out some absolute belters and I’m kind of relying on you letting me know where they are so why not drop a comment letting me know which is your favorite UK part runs or which ones I’ve missed off my list and that I should be adding to the list of those that I want to go and do if you’ve enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up and why not consider subscribing to my channel so that more people ultimately get to see my content and so that you don’t miss any future uh videos from me either I’m going to put all of my park run based videos all together in a little playlist which will be up there somewhere so you can go and check those out and I’m also going to do a video with some of the ones I really want to do out side of the UK as well so if you think that’s a good idea then again drop a comment and let me know and maybe just maybe I will see you on a park run somewhere real soon

  1. Nice video! If there's ever a parkrun beginning with 'X' it will be going straight to the top of my bucket list… For now, Eden Project is probably top for me!

  2. I done Great Yarmouth last Sat. It was a real killer, you just can't get any grip on the soft sand and yes, it was my slowest ever time but that wasn't important. It was a real experience, well worth the long train journey. Oh and I'm doing Bushy this Sat, can't wait for that one.

  3. Mount Edgecombe is a really challenging one but the views are worth it. (Nice cake at the end too)
Fort William is stunning through the forest

My plan is to complete the pirate challenge 🏴‍☠️ seven “C”s and one “R”

  4. Done Severn Bridge a couple of times. The course did initially strike me as very dull and I had low expectations before my first run. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the run on the bridge. It certainly helps that the last 2k is gently downhill.
Thanks for Somerdale Pavilion shout out. On my to do list now. 👍

  5. I've done four of these. I haven't done Great Yarmouth. Have you considered the Shetland parkrun? That's quite a pilgrimage. I did it in 2018 for my 200th, a week after Loch Ness marathon.
