Hey everyone! I'm from Brazil and recently bought this 90s Diamondback Sorrento SE, in its current setup, from a trusted friend. It has a DEORE 1X12 groupset, which I'm loving to use for commuting and some light trails. The front rack is also very sturdy; I carry an average of 15kg daily without any issues.
I plan to change the handlebars in the future, maybe a Surly-style handlebar for my next bikepacking trip. I've always traveled on a road bike at a high average speed. It'll be interesting to take a 26" MTB on the road 😄
What do you think? I'm also open to suggestions, as I'm a beginner in the world of 26" MTBs!
