It’s Day 4 of our cycling trip with The Three Amigos, and just when we thought the rain couldn’t get worse… France proves us wrong.
🌧️ Non-stop rain from start to finish
🤬 Nick develops a case of “cycling Tourette’s” (you’ll see why)
💸 Phil feels queasy — not from the ride, but from the price of a brand-new tyre
🚴♂️ Spirits are soaked, clothes are wetter… but somehow we keep going
And just when we’re on the verge of collapsing, we find an amazing place to stay and sit down to a feast of food that turns everything around. One of those tough-but-rewarding days that makes a trip like this unforgettable.
📍 Day 4 Highlights:
• Endless rain and soaked gear
• New tyre = lighter wallet
• Unfiltered reactions and raw moments
• Cosy accommodation + incredible meal to top it off

So, yeah, Phil’s gone in the bike shop now because his uh back tire is looking pretty pretty slick and he keeps suffering with uh getting punches. We’ve had no punches yet, me and Nick. So change his tire um and then head over for some breakfast coffee and then off to N. Happy days. So we got Phil actually doing his own maintenance. How much was your tire Phil? Don’t want to know but I could spend a small family for a week on pasties. So Phil’s fing it himself. So, all paid up and there’s the rate. That’s what we got content with today by the looks of it. Breakfast stop. Look at the size of them bad boys. Nice. Hungry. Look a bit pale. I find that talle. You’ll find a use for the other one. Did you leave the other one there? What the this all about? and shove France up your ass. I reckon Phil is a secret storm chaser and we’re chasing the bastard cuz it’s been raining for three days and it’s doing my Sweding. We’re not even heading nowhere towards bloody Geneva. I I said we seen that water body. That’s the third time I’ve seen that. There’s a reason for that. Yeah, glasses up now. Hello What do you reckon, Phil? So, he reckon you’re a stormchaser? Yeah. Skin’s waterproof, isn’t it? What do you reckon you are? Do you reckon you’re a stormchaser? No. Or we a Geneva chaser? Geneva chaser. We put tank on there earlier, didn’t we? TT bars. That’s all we need now. Yeah, when that we needed them when that golf was coming down the road. Yeah, we thought we was going to get chased by dogs anyway. Well, ain’t no pointing under here. It’s wet here as hell though. Okay, let’s go over and out. Oh, yeah. I’m glad to be on the road a bit for sure. So, lunch stop. Heat. Heat. Oh, hang on. Yeah, over the bridge. End of day four. Um, we’re in Where are we? Nats. Yeah. And Phil found this Airbnb. So, we are in N and we’re trying to get to a restaurant called on one of these trams. It’s called feet in it. again. Hey, wet again. Again. I see my rain day. It has chucked it down all day. Literally. So, where we navigating to, Phil? I’m just about to find the address and I just want to see how many tram stops it is. Well, that about wraps up day four. Hopefully the rain starts to uh ease off and uh we’ll catch you tomorrow for day five. [Music]
