So this is my bike and I keep breaking the rear wheels bike spokes. I’m on my fourth spoke so the wheel has had it. My option wants to either rebuild it or get new wheels entirely my bike shop owner said that the wheel is done and he wants to sell me new handmade wheels with Chris King hubs he’s gonna replace the cassette to make it Eight speed and a new chain as well to fit the wheels too. They’re his own custom-made wheels with Chris King hubs that he had on one of his custom projects but he wants to fit it to my bike. Is that a good deal the cost of $1000 all in including labor. Thoughts? I’m a rookie that I don’t know, but I really want to ride my bike and I don’t know if I should spend that kind of money or just get a new bike.
