Here is my £60 project pink hack bike. Wanted something fast, mechanically sound and undesirable for locking up outside the gym. I removed all wheel decals, added security skewers, sticker bombed and covered it with clear Gorilla tape to hopefully keep the decals in place.
Can I have some tyre recommendations please? My commute is 3 miles short and hilly, each way. One section is a bumpy path through a wood. Losing grip every time through the woods which feels scary on a fairly upright hybrid where the front wheel doesn't feel so planted. What tyres would you recommend for a fast commuter bike looking for a little extra grip? Do you think flipping stem would help the bike feel more planted? Thanks commuters! ❤️
