So far so good. I've done some simple changes. I sold the RS for a Fox Float X, swapped for a shorter oneup dropper, and that's about it.
On the trails, I feel like the bike really has traction in the rear. It's a great climber. I can climb steep hills with this bike. Just did an XC race at my highschool with this thing a few days ago, and it absolutely rips.
Some things I don't really like:
- the short insertion for seat post (looks long put its really short)
- reach is a little short for me (470mm size L), I am 6'1
That's really about it. I can trust this bike now with no issues. It feels solid. Very plush, and easy to maintain. One thing I would probably want to change is the stem. It's just too short, and that's a me problem. Getting new brake pads and rotors soon, my current ones are so worn out!
I was also wondering if tan wall tires would look nice with the frame?
